man I didn't know he had extra pieces to make his thighs and shoulders seem less bulky....that means you can give this guy overall 3 different looks! Man now it's gonna be hard to pass up on him considering I have the other 5 avengers (I do have the mark IV he's my only IM figure so far though)

damn it looks like I won't be getting him for much lower than $400 though. those who have him, would you say it's best I buy him now instead of keep waiting for the price to go up? (I don't have much interest in the battle damaged version of the suit with the chitauri base, as this one has way more accessories)

Yep, 3 looks for the Mk7 :D

Buy him now, you can find him for well under $400.

I got inspired by the last few pages and decided to try a flight pose for a bit.

Excessive is relative to your budget. I've only been collecting Hot Toys for a short bit, starting paying for my first last December and didn't actually get one until like April, and since then I have 9. But two were in a trade and most of the rest were paid for by selling things that no longer had a place in my collection. If I had just thrown down the 2000+ these puppies are worth/cost from my bank account, that would be way excessive for my budget, but the way I did it everything is hunky dory.

If 3 hot toys in a year puts a stress on your wallet that makes other things seem uncomfortable, then 4 is probably excessive. If you are chilling and just worried about how it looks to the outsider that you spend $330 on a single figure but it doesn't diminish your ability to support yourself and/or your family, then it's only excessive if you don't want them that badly. If you so and the cash is truly disposable income, get that sucker! As they say, if you got it, flaunt it.

:goodpost:

You speak a lot of sense! You much do I owe you for your counselling fee? :wink1:

It's more about future expenses such as an engagement ring that I need to buy in next few years...haha!

Either way....I bought this bad boy today. Thanks guys for your advice!

You know how many figures I missed out on paying for an engagement ring? None. Cuz I manned up and bought them anyways without her knowing about the debt her future husband is establishing

So tempted to get this guy. My local comic book store has it in stock for about 330 dollars.

Decisions, decisions....

My local store receive about 4 and the guy was gentle enough to sell them at the sideshow price ($250+tx). I bought two, initially wanting to keep it to trade it for a DX12, but finally decide to sell it literrally two days after for $360. I previously sold an old Kotobukiya Iron Man figure for around $100 to finance the Mark VII, so basically my Mark VII end up costing around $80!

So happy with this guy

I might add that at least these figures are easily resellable for at LEAST the price you will pay them for. I wouldn't bet my retirement on them, but it's nevertheless like a little investment.
