I like the flight poses.... But how sturdy is he on that crotch stand? I don't want no accidental crash landings.

It looks pretty stable. I would say almost more than standing up. You just have to put him with his feet low for balance, or even better, one feet touching down.

The only thing to look out for is that the croth is rubber based and the two "fingers" on the stand will leave a mark in the soft plastic. It happened, but it took back it,s original shape. That's why I now put the fingers between the crotch and the legs now.

I just pose mine with the crotch stand under the armor on his lower back, that way it doesn't leave dents in the crotch.

They hold some back. Maybe a couple of percent of the entire amount ordered, in case they have to raid those "spares" for pieces delivered to customers that have flaws.
After a certain time after the last complaints, they just sell off the remainder items.
I wouldn't worry about it.

As long as they remain factory sealed. I would be extremely cautious if the seals have been broken.

A Hulk stand would need a base the size of a dinner plate for starters, eating up most of the floor in the Detolf.
Putting a normal stand under him would look terrible. He stands out for a reason.

Make a duplicate of a HT stand but larger, similar to the man of steel base you made. Hell I'd be interested in one if you could do it!

That's what I am thinking of doing.
