I also did the same to a cheadle MKII helmet. So now I can have my MKII with a tony head.
Sorry for the pics. Maybe they are a bit graphic. An armour test Tony head was hurt in the following images, lol.

Lol. It's the cutting into the face that's the scary part. Cutting up a $70 head!

Heh. All that big money plastic goodness you have, all your skills and you've got Jasper stuck in a cardboard box. Dang Barry, you need to mod him a cool "Fort"!

I once spent eight hours at work making Jasper a wooden house, with two stories. The upper level could only be reached from the inside and was in near total darkness, with a cosy pillow for him to sleep on.
He went in it once and never went near it again.
But he happily sleeps in a cardboard box i got three HT figures in that is lined with bubblewrap...
Cats... I just don't know, lol.

I think that it would look more screen accurate on the Mark II with the Mech test Tony Stark head in the Mark II, it may look better please don't think I'm "one of those guys who has the smallest nit picks.

No worries. I value everyone's opinion. Except that one guy(You guys know who i'm talking about, lol).
I know what you mean, but the Mech test Tony head is really outdated compared to their current paint apps.
I believe the armour test sculpt is the best normal Tony head we will see for a while(Perhaps ever), as the films till now are about him, but mostly in the suit. With IM3 being about him macguyvering his way around, that's why we are getting two Tony's from the same movie, but it might be all suits from here on out.
I am just glad to have a helmeted sculpt for my MKVII finally!

Seems a shame to waste a light up helmet.
The one i used for the figure on the left(The Armour test helmet), would be a cheaper alternative.
Although if you are planning n using one of the Hologram AI faceplates, i suppose it would have to be a MKVII helmet.

I haven't picked any of those up. But to be honest, i doubt you'd be able to notice the difference when it looks like this:

I think the pics on Ebay are taken on macro mode.
We all know that if you take a pic of a HT head within 6 inches, the eyes look like they are pointing in two different directions.
