I was gonna wait for IM3, but the armor at SDCC was horrid. So this will hold me over I guess. If this guy is over $250 though, I'm gonna have some problems.

It's all in the pose.
If someone at SDCC just took a little more time, their Avengers display would have rocked!

That said, the Mk.VII will still sell very well regardless.

They're the same:

Not only was it posed poorly, but there's also a missing piece that was suppose to cover the gray parts just above the chest reactor.

You are right though that if they made a cool pose that figure could have looked so much better! But that grey area on the chest doesn't look good to me.

You can tell that they missed putting that final piece on the chest.
The entire Avengers display at SDCC looks rushed.
