oh my, now cartoon porn in the thread?.....check!

Welp at least we are not fighting:lol

I am going to make the most of the time between now and the BD VII release. Have a pretty awesome display planned for him.......and others.:yess:

Are you going to use some kind of dio? I was looking at some on eBay that have debris and rubble that might suit the final battle scene but they were around $100. :thud:

A dio scene would be easy to replicate. Like a section of broken street with a hole for a clear tube stand.
Is this something anyone would be interested in?

Something like this? Maybe a bit bigger. I'll be definitely interested!

Well if that stand comes painted, might be better to go with that one then.

Yes.
Something like that. Maybe 20-30mm deep. As wide and deep as people would like it.
A section of destroyed road. It could even have a cutout for a normal HT stand. Like the ones i did for the Batman and Superman stands.
Of course, i'd have to sculpt this one. But it's not impossible. Could be a $35 stand if enough people are interested in it

Been thinking this would look good next to a clean version of the VII! Been thinking about the Play Imaginative 1/6 Alloy version but that one is more expensive than the hot hoys version. :lol

Personally I'm not a stand guy but that would be pretty awesome. I'd like to see that come together

Im 100% interested in some destroyed road stands! :clap Really want to pose all the Avengers lined up, each having their own road stand..would be sweet!

Well although i *could* make loads of interconnecting stands, i was really only suggesting a "BD MKVII style" stand that could be bought by people who weren't getting the BD MKVII.
As it is, i doubt there are even five people interested, lol

A slab of broken road to fit a detolf shelf might be better...

Id be interested in a broken road slab with the hole for a flying pole. I tried to make one myself for the batpod with styrene and spray but it didnt work out.

Lol.
It's all a matter of technique. I generally use thick MDF as a base and drill a 10mm pilot hole for the pole.
I made a few the week before last. A Superman symbol for a pole stand and a Thor one(By request, as i don't have Thor myself yet), which i meant to look like Mjolnir. And my gantry base(Not made for a Stand, but made for Tony or an armour to stand on):

Oh, i totally understood you :) ...if you did make 1 one available for the BD MKVII...I would probably buy 4-5 of them so I can set up my own NYC war zone scene :yess: ...again...if it happens :monkey3

My plan is to create a raised platform with the Avengers team in the circle (the pan around shot when banner arives and hulks out). Going to use the foot soldier dio and try to cast another 1 or 2, paint them up and stick in various areas of the base.

I have some large H scale styrene building supplies that work well with 1/6 figures to create building rubble and crush up some mirrors and glass. Protected in an acryllic case with effect light on the team.

If you're going to display them in a circular team shot, you should really think about putting them on an electronic lazy susan.
