I don't think there is a HS that HT has made to be 100% accurate. Its impossible and unrealistic to expect. I think some are closer to their real life selves than others. The BD proto looks fine to me. It looks a lot like RDJ. Perfect? Nope. But it resembles him a lot.

I'm fine with the likeness of RDJ on the BD version too. My hope is for hot toys to add some broken pieces around the open faceplate to make it more screen accurate, because it looks to good of shape in the couple of prototype pics shown.

Not surprised if there are any cancellations though

I'd be very surprised if anyone cancels.
There's only one person around here who said this figure wasn't worth $300, but he got banned(And he only said that because he couldn't get on the list to pre-order it).
Everyone else on the list will be keeping it regardless.

This is dumb some mark vii already surfaced on the ebay hong kong retailers and people are spending insane amounts

The day they announced this i was on my laptop all day so i can snag one. As soon as they SS send me an email i was directed to a waitlist. How could it have been that others got the email before i did?

This saturday I will get an email giving me the chance to preorder this at retail price (it is 100% sure, the owner of the shop (belgian only sorry guys) I order them from confirmed it)

I am still in doubt though.. Buying this means I won't be able to buy the normal version.. I adore this battle damaged look, but this version looks less bulky with the lack of the shoulder pods and has no wrist lasers.. AHH dilemma! :(

Those emails are all sorts of wonky. It was available for an hour or two after I got my email.
