Only thing about after market sales is that they are only worth what people are prepared to pay for them. If people are buying them at let say for example $700 $800 that's what others will sell them for.
I get (kind of) why people get upset with flippers who buy the figures with the sole intention of reselling them, but it seems anyone who is reselling this figure at a profit is automatically vilified. I ordered mine with the intention of keeping it. But I'd be a fool not to consider letting it go for $600+. Hell I can turn the $300 I paid into 2 other statues I want that would cost me $675. Yes please.

If anyone can buy a figure for a price and sell for a profit, i say good luck to them.
I won't be knocking anyone for good business.

You mean profitable business. Scalping and amoral profiteering by exploiting other people is not good.

oh come on. opening a pawn shop in downtown detroit and putting the screws to the misfortunate is exploiting.
selling, AKA offering a product to the fortunate who choose to pay is called free market.
all you "scalper" haters need to move on with your sour grapes.
I think there is a big difference between people who originally buy a collectible with the intention of selling it and a collector selling an item he orginally planned on keeping, but because of demarnd decides to sell it and put that money back into him collection.
And no one is forcing anyone to pay any amount for anything. And selling this for whatever its going for, is no different than selling a Blade for $400.

Amoral profiteering?
Didn't you get on the pre-order list then?
Exactly. It's no more "exploitation" than when Hot Toys sells the figure to you at $300 when they could sell it for $200. This is a want and desire based market. The scalpers aren't gouging you for your heart medication here.
I did get on the list. That isn't the point. I hate injustice, which is why I like superheroes.
