Does the regular Mark VII even come with the jetpack? All I see are the air flaps on his back.

The extra flaps basically are the jetpack.

Hmmm, the back still isn't right. It looks like the 2 lower 'flaps' from the jetpack are still on it, which is stupid because the jetpack doesn't even have flaps. It's only the upper/center portion that is removable it seems.

I guess the other thing to keep in mind is that the rendered suit designs that I posted may have been changed in the actual film. So unless we get some high def shots of those scenes we can't say for sure.

I always though that in the movie, the ribcage armor, missile pods, and boosters were one piece, the backpack.

I just watched the nuke scene. Its so dark, its almost impossible to see exactly what comes off.

Well, if nothing else, this picture pretty clearly shows that the jetpack will attach to the battle damage version, should anyone want to do that. You can see where it clips into the suit on the trapezius area.

I have no idea if they are following a similar time line to last year with the movie Mark VI, but if they do, it'll be a month until this goes up. You may want to find something to occupy yourself for a while in case it is that long or you'll have a nasty headache after banging your head that long.
