The paint def look wayyy better than the original Mark VII. This is the definitive Mark VII - until the die cast ver is out.
one thing though, unless you are content with a "bare" Mark VII (ie no flaps no rockets) the normal release one looks better in my opinion
also flaps and stuff don't attach to this guy, I was looking at the back of it and there were no parts to join anything onto him
Am I the only one who just wants the head sculpt and base? Lol

Maybe BD is better looking, but definitely not the definitive.
It's missing VII's signature backpack.
I want the HS and repulsor hands only
It was definitive, like last year. After seeing the dozens of new armors with the huge hands, backpack etc, I dont think it matters no more.
Have you seen the latest v1 Mark VII pics? seems like it will come with a bonus repulsor hands parts as well.
Will check them out, great news if true, not desperate for the HS really, the main thing i want is that repulsor fire pose

Aren't the BD hands newly designed to get an almost 90 degree hand pose? Seems the connection is more on the back of the palm rather than at the bottom. I dont think the Non BD version will be able to reach that level even with new wrist pieces. I think the normal hand would pop off at a certain degree too.
Previous IM's were already doing quite OK, so a simple bent wrist guard would already be great.
..but I guess complaining will never end.
I'm just happy HT added the wrist guards despite having no legal obligation to do so.
In that context, a lot of Iron Man tech isn't humanly possible.I'm sure this is known, but a full 90 degree hand pose is humanly impossible.

Yep. At least its nowhere near as bad in the Marvel threads as it is in the DC/Batman thread.
I made a comment about being clueless MYSELF about modding a figure and I wasn't greeted nicely from a few customizers. And I didn't even say anything negative. One was quite defensive for no reason at all.
My 40th descendant is laughing at this post.
