Hot Toys nailed both Superman and JorEl's likenesses, here's hoping Zod turns out just as good.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

So I noticed a couple recent HT things.. That weird anime pice and the new Iron man ex helmet for SC have really nice flame effects.. obviously they can pull stuff like this off so why no heat vision Head? or even an effects pice that would magnetize to his face (kinda like abe sapien...?

Personally id like a second yelling head with the vision effect but Id honestly settle for whatever they had to do to do it

Great work! :clap Any photos of how it will look when the lights are closed?

Sorry about the delay. It's finding the time, lol.
Here's a small vid showing what it looks like removing the battery.
Notice the drilled pupils lighting up brighter.

Look to the left of Superman .. :cuckoo:

The aliens in the suit all looked the same in the fillm, I wasnt sure what that was until I saw the name plate in the second picture as it was harder to tell in the first pics. So I am not :cuckoo:

I look at it now though and can make it out, I guess I should of just looked at the name plate even though the words are blurry.

Thanks for the link, I heard some person on you tube complain that they were not making a Zod, so like an idiot I believed him even though I thought I saw a teaser pic on Hot Toys facebook. :slap

Anyway can't wait to see actual head sculpt of Micheal Shannon !

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

It's funny cause for a long while, Bruce and Clark were drawn strikingly similar. Save for the glasses.

Clark and Bruce belong the classic DC etnia of characters with black hair and blue eyes, that also includes Richard Grayson, Wonder Woman, Donna Troy, Tim Drake, Kon-El, Damian Wayne, and Helena Bertinelli.

They all look sort of similar for that same reason.

Also, Hyppolita used to belong to that group before the New 52. Now she's blonde, like the Pre-CoIE version.

Jason Todd was part of that group before Morrsion made him a Ginger. Now in new 52 I'm not sure which origin for him is in play.

Wasn't he also a redhead before CoIE?

I think I've seen an old issue of "New Teen Titans", where Richard (the forum automatically edits the nickname) tells Bruce of his intention of not being Robin anymore, and Jason is seen behind and saying "Can I be the new Robin?", and IIRC, he wasn't black haired then, either.

But all about Jason is a mess, actually. Origin, death, resurrection... the bit of his whole life being orchestrated by Joker (if Joker was telling the truth, or not)... it's like every writer has their own ideas for the character, and nothing seems to stick. He's like DC's Wolverine in that sense.
