Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

My wife is just over the moon. She already has the v1 Superman Returns figure from HT, then Medicom, DC Direct and Barbie & Ken, as well as the Reeve/Superman in both Regular and Exclusive and 'Evil' versions...

Now she is just counting down to the Cavill addition to the stable Superhero goodness

So both you and your wife collect figures?

Yes :yess: We got into it together. The first figures we ever saw at 1:6 scale were the SSC 007 line, Connery/Bond and Dr. No figures. We bought them and that was that!

But she has her own 'subsection' of the collection, the Superman and 007 sections.

You sound like the perfect couple, do you share your figures or buy two of each? :lol

Pretty sure that's still nothing more then a rumor at this point. Lots of websites are reporting it as if it's a definite thing, but I think they're jumping the gun.

They definitely are, it was/is pure speculation.

Awesomeness.
:goodpost::lecture:rock
Pure speculation? Isn't that a bit overboard? I think at worst, they are just in talks at this point.

While I think it's slightly more than speculation, I don't think it's definite. Last I heard, Mark Strong was also in talks for Lex Luthor. Would much prefer him than Cranston but heh, going to try to keep an open mind justlike I am with Affleck

The original report came from cosmicbooknews.com. Not exactly the most reputable source. They also say they're looking at Matt Damon for Aquaman or Martian Manhunter.... Sounds a bit too out there, doesn't it? They also talk about Mark Strong possibly being Sinestro again. There is absolutely no way he or anyone else from that terrible Green Lantern movie will be brought back for anything in the future. If anything is overblown it's their report and the several other websites who picked it up and ran with it without doing the slightest bit of fact checking or questioning the source. They're just looking for hits on their website.

It's Cosmicbooknews were talking about, I think it's safe to say this is pure speculation.:lol
