I like the way you think. This is logical reasoning as to why the change would happen. That's one of the few things I've seen in speculation of scalemail, a reason or a why. It fits with the fact that whenever Cap changes a suit in a movie there is usually a narrative reason.

I can see that being a reason as well. To have a tactical advantage, or at least match something of Stark's that would otherwise give him a tactical advantage.

I was thinking the scale main upgrade might be a way for him to counter Black Panthers viburnum claws. But who besides Stark or SHIELD would develop something like that for him that late in the movie considering Cap is the bad guy to both?
Unless he's had it but saved it for a rainy day? I'd be a bit disappointed with that, since i'd think he'd just wear it all the time.

Unless T'Challa switches sides maybe? Haha or of other sides unite to fight Zemo. Who knows if or how he'll get the scale mail suit.

I thought T'Challa was said to be neutral? All the promo art makes it look like he sides with Stark, I reckon he's not actually on a side, just hunting down Bucky.

Maybe Coulson or Fury sides with him? Or another group we don't know about who supports the Avengers with resources other than Stark?

I am assuming he's neutral and by the sounds of it they all come together to fight the main threat in the end, as for why the promo suggests he sides with Stark? Well the enemy or my enemy and all he probably doesn't care about Cap just Bucky.

This is how I hope the film plays out, for B Vs S I could care less, in fact I wanted that film to be just B Vs S but with civil war I never wanted the whole conflict to be just Iron Man and Captain America. Captain America already sacrificed himself to the Winter Soldier at the end of the last Cap movie, that got his friend back and saved his life, I don't see a reason why Cap needs to sacrifice himself again, that'll be the third Cap film in a row where he has sacrificed himself for the greater good.

Apparently "not very". I think I remember seeing a comment by the actor (Daniel Bruhl, who played famous sniper Nazi Private in 'Inglorious Basterds') that he doesn't wear a mask. However, given that the Zemo family has a long history with Cap and being some sort of royalty, I'm sure we'll see a "Baron Zemo" mask in his secret lair and his clothing choices will harken back to the Zemo we know (purples, yellows, white furry cape/collar, etc.)
