Will probably get this as my first ever figure of Cap (same with Iron Man Mk 46) though I'm still curious to see the suit with scales...
From Toy Soul
Looks the same at first blush but in addition to different gloves, knee pads and boots and less red, the design throughout the suit has been changed, perhaps the harness as well. The belt also looks simpler.
Not sure if it is the pictures but the body looks bigger and muscular and broad shoulders.
Both are prototypes , but to CW benefits of the improvements that AOU has had in production . the prototype of AOU not seemed so muscular with broad shoulders as the final product .

TBH I can't really see a difference between the look of the proto in that pic and the final product of AOU cap as neither of them looked like they had broad shoulders like this one appears to have. This CW one looks like it has an actual bigger body with broader shoulders than the other Cap figures.
It can be , maybe I'm wrong .
The problem is that until HT fix the body proportions, the products are always changing . Perhaps with the doll Infity War ....
I highly doubt we'll even get that in this movie. People are going crazy for it just because one t-shirt was shown with him wearing something to the affect. None of the promos have given us any indication of it. It may just be a big surprise that they're hiding or it doesn't exist.
So far Captain Americas suits have had a purpose of sorts, and the others have been a new paint job. If they do go with a Scale armor I would imagine it would be to have a advantage over Iron Man, such as it reflects or lessons the damage of his repulsors. But I'm in the boat that we won't see the armor.

Yeah but this time it is the right color, not bright and comic book looking but darker with the red parts being maroon and the blue part of the suit being the dark navy blue, instead of the bright red and sky blue on the AOU one.
Why doubt the scale armor? We haven't seen a single sign of Spidey, and yet he is in the movie. Unless I'm mistaken, haven't seen a second suit for Stark, and there's no way he just has one.
