So I received my CW Cap earlier today and I can honestly say that anyone who sold off their AoU Cap in favor of this one, made the right choice. This figure is much superior to it, as the proportions are amazing. The gritted teeth face plate adds so much more to the figure in my opinion; I would highly recommend anyone with a BV CW Cap pick up the sculpt for this one.

This shield though I have to say was by far the most difficult strapped shield on a CA figure to apply, and I've never had any trouble with shields before, but I had a really tough time with this one. I think the majority of the reason why is because the peg hole on the gloves/hands is very deep like the AoU version (though the AoU version of course had the magnetic shield and therefore, didn't run into this problem), so it was quite difficult to first put one strap in his hand and then slip the other strap over his forearm, then attach the hand to the arm. That's really the only way to do it I believe, as you're not able to slide the forearm strap over the hand with it attached to the arm. Plus, the arm of the suit was pulled down a little further on his forearm of the shield arm than it is on the other side, so that was also getting in the way a bit.

He looks great though. No issues with it from what I'm able to tell after giving it the once over. I currently have him displayed next to TWS line and Ant-Man and I gotta say that he looks really good next to the Ant-Man figure.

He looks amazing, out of curiosity seeming that right now the original Ant-Man will be joining any potential Team Cap display could you take a photo of them next to each other?

Got mine today. I own a few Cap figures (2 of the three TFA and the Avengers one). I must say this is my favorite thus far. Here are some quick pictures from my smartphone.

Looks amazing especially infront of the Winter Soldier poster!

I second this, received mine a week ago and physique wise there's no comparison to any other Cap in my opinion. But again changing hands is a pain in the backside because the peg hold is is too far in. Feels like you're really having to force the fabric of the suit on the arm to get it to pop in. The only other bad thing and very cheaply done is the clip for the shield to attach to the back. Looks terrible, not close enough to the body and not high enough either. Expect more from a premium figure!

Congrats to everybody who got theirs! Looks like mine will be here Thursday or Friday, can't wait. Nice pics chuey, I have that same winter soldier poster framed on the wall in my basement, you have good taste, such a badass poster.

Here's that Ant Man and Cap pic. Don't mind the size difference. Caps the BV and is on a taller stand

I'm on my way out at the moment, but I snapped a quick iPhone image as I was going by. Hopefully that suffices.

The the hand that I attached to the arm that's not holding the shield went on relatively easily. It was attaching the hand to the arm that's holding the shield. You have to put the shield strap into the hand first, slide the other strap onto his arm, then attach the hand to the arm, which proved to be a pain. As mentioned, the peg hole sitting so deep inside the hand and the fabric of the suit getting in the way of the socket on the arm were the biggest obstacles.

The clip to hold the shield on the back is meaningless to me personally, as I never intend on having this figure with the shield on his back. However, I'm sure there's some people who might and unfortunately from what I saw with reviews for the BV Cap, the clip is indeed pretty cheap and looks sloppy. I'm not sure if it will be compatible with this figure (I don't see why it wouldn't), but the best clip that looks the neatest is the one that comes with the SS Cap figure.

Can you tell me the method of finding out how much they have left ? What do you have to do ?

Input a random number, say 100, and add em to your cart. If above 100 are available they will be added to your cart. If below 100 are available, say 21 , then 21 will be added to your cart......simple science.

it actually cuts off at 24 then instructs you to contact them about orders over 24 but once it gets below 24 thats the quantity. They'll probably get a little more when released but not much. I wanted to wait on this figure but I don't think it's going to hang around too long then itll pull an AoU Cap until IW but Cap isn't Cap in IW so who knows what his uniform will look like.

Thank you . I have the AOU version of this figure but I'm really tempted to get this anyway .

If it's plausible, have both. Both are excellent figures.

I'd be willing to wager that by the end of the film, it'll look like a Captain America uniform.

This is gonna sound really dumb, but I removed the faceplate to put the snarling one in and now I can't get either of them back on properly. Am I missing something (obviously am!)

So I just played around with my newly arrived Cap and much to my significant surprise, I like the AoU Cap much better. The CW is still a great figure but I would never sell my AoU Cap for this one. A couple of differences:

AoU Cap is bigger. He's not taller but he's bigger. His torso seems thicker and his hands are definitely bigger. In fact I think the head may even be smaller on the CW version. At the same time, the CW Cap feels and looks more padded and less naturally muscular. Where the AoU one looks well built, the CW one looks well padded.

The colors are darker and more muted in the CW as well. That will be a selling point for many but for my tastes, I prefer the more comic book, brighter colors of the AoU Cap.

Where the CW Cap excels is in the suit. The knees bend better, the articulation is better and the suit is a better, more flexible material. The pants don't ride up as high and allow him split his legs very wide and the belt is so much better. The pouches are smaller and won't be constantly falling off.

And of course, the shield. While I will miss the ease of the magnets, this shield looks great. Awesome feel, awesome paint, great detail.

I am a HUGE Cap fan so I am glad to own both but if you have AoU and are on the fence, personally I would say just keep the AoU version and skip this. OR buy both and put the CW pants on the Aou version. :).

This happened to me too. I like CW Cap and AoU as both have their pros and cons... I'm keeping both (in separate shelves) for now.

Also, for all of you who already got CW Cap, can you rotate his torso/waist? I find that I cannot rotate either in my figure and I'm afraid that if I force it I will break something...
