Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

Ha, I know right? I'm not too crazy about paying so much for one figure to begin with though, and none of the previous IM really ever caught my eye that much, so I think I'll be safe.

I can safely say this will be my last IM. After this, I'll have the Mk 7, 33, 42, 43 and 46. I'm curtailing my Marvel purchases after CW and focusing more on the DCEU and other miscellaneous figures.

Ya right. These Diecast figures are just getting better and better. As much as I tell myself I'm not getting this, or I'm not getting that, somehow I end up making room and budget for them...

that's good for you, because after the exchange the pricing kills me on the diecast figures

I love the diecast figures...I always know I'm getting an amazing product with them. I know that I am standing pat with the 6 I will have (Mark 3, Mark 43, Starboost, all 3 WM).

Same here, pricing is just crazy high for one figure

This is literally the only Iron-man I'm excited about owning since the Avengers Mark 7.
Which I sold.
I want to see that Tony sculpt.

Ooh, ok, I have to admit that I could be tempted by a die cast 7. But between the two I would still go with the 46. Anyway, is this expected to have the same type of paint finish as the 45? It doesn't look quite seem like it in the prototype pictures so far.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

So this was just announced for a December release:

15002469_623523334493419_8702832616603234363_o.jpg

15068363_623523354493417_4901967450172699103_o.jpg

It looks to be a new sculpt, and it isn't just the bootleg 1/4 scaled down to 1/6 head with new hair it seems:

I would not be surprised if this was the new Hot Toys sculpt bootlegged early.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I'll just wait for the XLVI since it comes with the sculpt already. For those that can't wait or won't be picking up the XLVI, it's a nice sculpt!

Yup, I already ordered this one along with the middle finger hand for Deadpool haha. OSK gets so much service from me. I'm addicted.

Yep, same here. Still, it will be great for a business suit Tony custom. Now all we need are sunglasses and an Iron Man hand (and I guess his suit).

Agreed. Though I rarely ever use the stark sculpts. Though I do wish all of the armors came with heads like the shotgun head, but since he was never shown that way in civil war, I understand why they aren't doing that.

I just REALLY hope they update his weaponry. I think I'd honestly prefer the weaponry over a stark sculpt.. Hopefully we'll get both.. And hopefully it doesn't push the release back. The wait is long enough as is lol.

I don't know, he spends so much time with his mask off in this one. Hes probably without helmet more often than not. And yeah, considering the time since the release of the movie to the release of this figure, there isn't much of an excuse not to have his weaponry.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

The CW Widow sculpt was bootlegged before the figure was out so it's definitely possible.

not nearly a year ahead. and not before it was shown. that head looks like the sameculpt with new paint apps. make them both black and white and its pretty hard to see any difference other then the hair.

I have a feeling we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one man. :wink1: Looks like a brand new sculpt to me!

I agree it is a new sculpt. Look at the chin & nose. Chin is shorter on the new 1/6 and nose is slightly different, and subtle differences in the eyes, surrounding area.

Looks good too.
