I agree, its pretty good and I guess should be expected considering the price of the 45

Seems that this comes with everything the 45 does and more, with the exception of the lasers. Very pleasantly surprised by the price!

So I take it their marketing team etc finally decided they'd sold enough pre-orders of the PP, to let this out of the bag...

I actually like it more than the movie shots I've seen so far... same with the 45. Hate to say it, even though I have no intention of collecting CW, or any more evolutions of the Mk42/43 era (I'm saving my Iron Man money for potential IM2/Avengers diecast rereleases), this would look good in a post IM3 Hall of Armour alongside the 42, 43 and 45...

Oh! That's right! No lasers on this one! The shoulders don't open either on this 46! I wonder if they will add that to the final product...

wish it would come with a normal base too, sometimes you cant seem to get a good pose with the one it comes with. nice figure though, i've had iron man in my collection but always ended up selling him off so i think this will be the one to represent the character in my (hopefully) permanent collection.

Think the Tony sculpts are getting really close now. The 1/4 scale one is phenomenal, and if this one looks anything like it, I think we'll be happy.

Damn the suit looking sweet! Anyone think the Tony sculpt will have a black eye?

Maybe, I was wondering that myself, it's hard to tell on the blurred photos (it doesn't look like it) but what I did wonder is whether they may do a suited Tony with a compatible head to the Mk46 one having a black eye and the other from before that.

The shoulders do have the launchers on this, there is a photo showing it and its detailed in the spec sheet.
