This looks so good. No....must resist...

MUST. LOVE. MARK 45.

UGGHHH

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I love the way HT is designing the neck area to look more realistic, proportionately. I think this is the best 1/6 "man in a suit" iron man since their Mark 33.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

That's a lot of Iron man figures.

Lol, you think that's bad? I'm addicted to IM figures and Statues. Just to make it simple, focusing on HT IM armors only, I own every released except the Mk. I 1.0, the GMG Mk. III and the PP Mk. 42. So that's a total of 48 including WM's, Monger, IP & Legion. Not bragging, just a fact, my name is Blinguskahn and I'm an addict!

Son, you've got a condition. :lol

Totally agree with you there. :lecture

This pic alone reassured my want for these two figures.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I love this new helmet design ..it is new right? sticks out so much more than in AOU for some reason.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I love the bull neck. The bulk reminds me of Adi Granov's suits.

Correct, the main differences are the faceplate lines above the eyes and the lines on the red part of the forehead/scalp. I actually find the new faceplate lines make him look angrier, maybe that was the intent :dunno

Holy S#### read the description . 28 LED lights :horror

Glad I waited, and skipped the AOU version :yess:

Stupid Question, I hate Roman numerals.which Mark is this :dunno

It's the Mark 46.

I'm not a fan of Roman numerals either haha.

I fully expect them to do a 1/4 scale version now. Hopefully of Cap too.

I wish they would do a 1/4 Cap and Thor before another Iron Man but chances are probably slim to none. We'll probably get the 1/4 Mark 42 and this next.

Iron Man, yes. I think that will be their premium product for a while going on the sheer love that went into the 43.. Everything about Iron Man figures lends well to the bigger scale.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I had originally only wanted the 45.. But now I need both the 45 and 46.. I love hot toys man. I really do. Sure they do things wrong sometimes, but I can't argue with their work as a whole.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I had to do comparisons

Mark 45 HT

Mark 46 HT

I love the additional LEDs

However the 1/4 scale is still a beast

46 looks so good but it's not going to be here for over a year. 45 will hold me over.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

As a design by itself, I personally prefer the Mark 45. The armor plating looks more organic and resembles musculature in terms of its form, not to mention it almost reminds me of Ultron (hah!). That said, I find the Mark 46 to be more fitting and more "Iron Man" in terms of looks, hence why I'm going for it instead (not to mention how it has better features and extras overall).

I like the leg design just a tad more in the mark 46 and those LEDs ..who needs the hulkbuster :hi5:

My question is, is the Mark 46 the only suit in the film or are they doing an ending suit :panic:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

Yep. The shiny lights on the 46 are indeed attractive. :lol

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

Oh yeah, the multiple LED lights are definitely a huge draw for me too. :lol

I certainly hope not. Not because I'd be scared of needing to order two suits, rather I just wish that Tony would slow down and stop switching suits mid-way through a film every time. :rotfl
