And err... I'm going to keep my mouth shut about that Rogue One comment, lest something spoil. I will say, I was looking forward to the tie fighter confrontation that the trailer showed. Still, a great film over all.

Yes, where are all those deleted scenes?

I wouldn't put heat anywhere near those fishnets. Ever. Not kidding, lol.

I used the hairdryer after the right leg detached and left dislocated.

Didn't let it get too hot, just warm enough to soften the plastic at the joint. The boots on this batch are maybe a tighter fit and it took some force to reattach them as they were cooling.

The alternative is to yank as much of the plastic out with the boots attached. And push the edges back down inside.

DarthBakura has like 9 separate posts now crying and being offended about how hard it is to live in the world where people criticize rape "jokes", and how unfair he thinks it is that he is being criticized for saying 'rape is just a normal thing that happens at prom', while he also ironically is complaining about how people are too "sensitive" and are too "easily offended". Someone find that guy a mirror :rotfl

As for the topic of the thread...

Her stockings were ripped everywhere during shooting, so yeah, now you have a battled damaged one. Might as well make the shirt grimy as well.

Now everyone is going to be cutting holes in the stockings in the name of accuracy :wink1:

The Extended Cut is definitely the best version, as I also found when I watched the Extended Cut of Batman v Superman.

The extended version of Suicide Squad is the only version I have seen, so I don't know what about it makes it better because I haven't seen the theatrical cut to compare it too. But, I didn't think it was nearly as terrible as everyone said it was. I know, not being "terrible" isn't actually a glowing review, but I thought the extend cut of Suicide Squad made an enjoyable Saturday afternoon movie to watch. Is it the greatest, or even one of the better, movies in the comic book movie genre? Well, no, but it was also far from the worst. There are some comic book movies I find unwatchable, but SS isn't one of them. It's one of those movies if you just accept it for what it is, you can enjoy with some popcorn. Except for Wonder Woman I haven't been a big fan of the DC extended movie universe so far, but I thought all these SS characters were fine additions to the attempt DC is making. I think its fair for fans who really love these characters to call the movie a disappointment, but I think it is unfair to call the movie a disaster.

Now, Batman V Superman however... perhaps because these characters are more important to me I am more disappointed in this movie. I only saw it once in the theaters, and the changes I read about in the extended cut doesn't really address the issues I had with it. Still, after seeing Wonder Woman and with Justice League coming I am going to give it another chance. I picked up a copy of BvS extended cut for $4 and I plan to watch it sometime before Justice League comes out. So, we'll see.

I find most of the MCU unwatchable - the Captain Americas, the Thors, the Avengers. It felt a bit downhill after the first Iron Man. I generally prefer some of the Marvel TV series because of the emphasis on character over endless fight sequences. And I guess that's why I find the extended Suicide Squad and BvS work better.

GOTG and GOTG 2 were high points owing to humour, and pathos that I found worked more convincingly than when it was employed in the other connected films.

And with Suicide Squad you get a similar approach to character relationships as in GOTG, and a similar kind of banter. I also liked the feel of the journey into the city in SS, which started to give me Escape From New York goosebumps.

Oh, you can't go saying that kinda stuff here. You'll be killed. :lol

The Guardians films are definitely my favorite of all the MCU films, but then again I haven't seen Spidey. Winter Soldier was good and Avengers was a sight to behold. Civil War is up there with the latter two. Still have to say though... Iron Man 1 and 2 are damn hard to beat.

This is all regarding the MCU. I clearly sway far more into DC fandom than anything else. Even Star Wars. :monkey3

lol, I can see that now that you mention it. It did kind of have that feel. That's a nice comparison, no one would say Escape From New York is one of the greatest movies of all time, but is a fun little cult classic. Now all SS needs to do is make sure their sequel is better than Escape From LA :wink1:

Actually, I think for a sequel they should find some sort of contrasting location from the city. An altogether different kind of mission and not a re-hash. I wonder what other kind of cult classics could be used as a template?

There's Natural Born Killers: A Harley and Joker Road Movie.

Or the Harley solo film, Single White Female: The Roommate from Hell.

:lol

Instead of all these proposed movies focusing on the villains I'd much prefer to see Harley in a compelling Batman movie. I hope we get more than just a cameo scene between those two at some point down the line.

Same goes for the Joker. As much as Heath made TDK his own, it still needed Batman. As he said himself "what would I do without you?"

Whatever they decide for the sequel, I'd like to see them introduce the King of Cold himself. He can be the main villain, whatever.

If they do him "true justice," Victor Fries could be the best comic book villain ever seen on film. Which would be saying something, because as it stands, he's possibly the worst. :lol

What? Are you telling me you don't want to see DC universe's take on 'Point Break'?

You missed the point entirely. Lord help all the special millenial snowflakes. Can't for the life of me see how they would get through a George Carlin special without verbally vomiting on the internet every five minutes. Grow thicker skin.

What a sad little world we live in today where a ****ing prom night joke brings out this kinda crowd.

Also, one could technically argue against that whole point about cancer, when it seems like the very air we breath gives it to us these days. Not to mention general neglect and complacence in some fields of regulation that allow cancer agents to go unchecked.
Hi Darth...OMG, just checked back after all this time after I replied to your joke. I didn't mean for it to go this far. I was just being a smart ass asking if you raped your prom date. I knew you would get my bad joke but I didn't know it would unleash PC Principal over there....LOL. Sorry for my bad taste in humor. It is kinda funny reading you go back and forth with that other collector.
Seriously, you two didn't have something better to do on a Saturday?! Jeez

The backlash to the joke was far worse than the joke of you ask me.

People gotta chill, but yes move it along back to on topic.

Can we stop referencing it and stay on topic?
We can have the mod tell you twice if we need to.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got Harley in. Really good figure. If you're on the fence, go get her!
