Yeah, I know it's closer to OT in time, but I so much prefer these trooper variations to the TFA trooper/ducktrooper variations, which to me are already blending in with PT clones.

This one and the Tanktrooper are far more interesting variants compared to stuff like the TFA snowtroopers and TIE pilots.

I still can't see exactly why the grenade belt around the waist can't be removed. Anyone with the figure able to take some pics or explain what is stopping it being removed ? If it could be removed it would be 2 figures in one

I don't hate the TFA stormtrooper design, but I feel I dodged a bullet by not buying any of those. Now the TFA hype has worn off, the designs don't stick with me.

If I want a black and white armoured trooper on the shelf, may as well be the icon, not a spin-off, however well-executed. Got nothing against them; they're for the kids.

I had the opportunity to talk to some young Star Wars fans recently, and they were all about Anakin (mostly thanks to Clone Wars) and a lot of modern stuff old-timers like me can take or leave.

The grenade belt is fitted with two harness type buckles which appear to be glued around the chest area.
I'd imagine the fact theyre glued is why no one wants to even attempt it on a new figure.
I did try and strip him down, but on discovering how the harness was attached I stopped.

Funny you say that. I love the TFA designs so much that I bought all of the variants. They just clicked with me right away. I even have a second regular Stormtrooper on the way. Time will tell whether these still hold a place in fans' hearts years from now, but ultimately, I think they will and unlike the Clone Troopers, they have a much stronger movie that represents them well.

The Jedha Stormtrooper seems like a step back in design, rather than an improvement. The lower leg armor and the chest armor pretty much kill it. Hopefully, they'll look better on screen.

I've loved all the RO troop designs, more so than TFA. That being said, I really like the TFA Tie pilot. Maybe even more than OT. He's the only Trooper I own because of it.

I also loved the TFA Tie Pilot. After thinking about it, I think I liked it because it didn't look like the duck faced trooper design and perhaps a bit more like the original Trilogy. This is also why I like the RO troopers to date. They look more like the OT but with some changes to make them different and marketable.

Haha! Same here. There are so many! I jumped on the Sideshow orders later than I should have for the OT. I only own a Sandtrooper, a Spacetrooper and the exclusive Gold Stormtrooper. If they ever release the Han Solo Stormtrooper, I would go for that one.

I can't get past crashing the damned speeder bike in training mode, so not sure this fella will help! FWIW, I never play those type of games but tried with my son. It was quite hysterical (at least to him)!

No harm in trying! Even for me, the speeder bike isn't easy. Have you tried the trooper combat? It's addicting and much easier to get into than the vehicles. With the recent updates, there's a lot of variability with how you can play with different builds and weapons. The emotes are really funny too. Nothing like using a laughing emote after flanking 5 enemies... I've put in 92 hours and am almost at level 70... It's the only mp game I want to play right now.

Also, the newest map pack is DEATH STAR WITH PLAYABLE BOSSK AND CHEWBACCA! So good.

Im quite hooked on battlefront. level 78 at the moment. I think the outer rim has been my favourite expansion. Jabbas palace is just so beautifully recreated!!

I don't have any consoles so may buy one just to play Battlefront on - it looks that cool. What is the best console - Playstation 4?

I have Mac so can't do the computer platform.

I have an xbox one. The playstation 4 is getting the x-wing vr mission which looks amazing but the vr headset is quite pricey

I have both consoles and I can say generally, multi platform games look better on PS4. They run at a higher resolution and have more stable frame rates. Take that as you will. I only bought an xbox one for its exclusive games like gears of war and forza lol. PS4 is my main console. And they just came out with the slim, so you can get one for the cost of a hot toys Vader.

If you get Battlefront on PS4, add me as a friend. We can play as a group! I suggest getting the season pass. The maps on Tatooine, Bespin, and the Death Star are soooo good! They recreated everything perfectly.
