I absolutely LOVE him without all the extra gear. I'll probably end up getting another basic DT when they come out and hopefully, that one will have the little rangefinder on the side of the helmet. I'll have them two flanking Director Krennic or something. Maybe even RO Vader if he doesn't get made.

This was my favorite photo I took and how I'll have him for now.

Great pics Jayception. Mine is on the way. My plan is still to have him, sandtrooper and shoretrooper together. Showed good contrast I think. Your pics of 3 troopers are also in that direction. A couple with Krennic would also look badass.

The hype seems to have died a bit on Rogue One. Maybe one last push in the next weeks. So close now !!!

I like the gear on as well. If they make another version with the range finder and less gear, the specialist will look a lot more distinctive.

According to the new "Cosbaby" Bobble-Head set, it's the "Specialist" that has the built in range finder in his helmet.

Probably did it to bait people into buying the different versions.

The 6th scale specialist is correct. The normal death troopers have the range finder, specialist has pauldron and armour add ons. It's like that on a number of pictures.
