So is the plan to keep saying the sculpt looks like Brad Pitt until it catches on or something? Personally, it's definitely not as good as the Mk46/47 sculpt, but it's still RDJ more than anything :dunno

Anyway, super excited this is coming out. It was actually my least favorite of the original 7. But over the years I've grown to like its uniqueness. Can't wait to get this in.

Considering snagging this one. I like the colour scheme a lot; this armour was considerably lighter weight than the others, but still working out if it has the ‘man-in-a-suit’ bulk I want to see on the shelf.

From the PO spec sheet:

"Newly painted interchangeable head sculpt with authentic likeness of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark"

Not sure what people were expecting -- personally I would have found it jarring if they used sculpt from the 46/47 -- he's meant to be ten years younger in the V.

Looks nothing like Brad Pitt. :rotfl

It's funny that you say that.
I find the new Mark 6 head looks aged the same as the 46/47. And, of course, the 5 and 6 are from the same film.

It’s the Arc Reactor sculpt he is younger looking. The new paint means he’s had an ass kicking too!

I don't really care about the sculpt, but I just prefer one to be included. Makes it feel like i'm getting a better value.

I think the sculpt is decent. Paint work up close is probably amazing.

I'm not even getting the figure but it would have been nice to see an original, more scene accurate head sculpt.

Yeah...now that you've posted this photo I don't even know what HT was thinking or basing their headsculpt/paint app off of. It's not screen accurate at all! :slap

After a very recent Mark 6 release I was hoping for the Thor Gladiator release; even as an Iron Man figure fan I can feel this IronMan figure fatigue already... [emoji53] not planning on getting this at all with so many upcoming figs.

Haha there is no plan. To me, the sub-par headsculpt looks like Brad Pitt...so I'm gonna keep calling it that lol. :lol

Looks gorgeous! Back-to-back stellar IM releases. The paint app, among so many other things, is leaps and bounds better than the original. Love the box art too. So excited for this!
