I chatted with Sideshow and they are still expecting it in March

There's no way that Sideshow will receive their shipment even before dealers in Asia receive theirs. I'd like to see it happen in March, but know there is no way. This is the one figure I am anticipating the most in 2018 too.

I think they will postpone it for two months at least. Probably May 15th.

The first MK5 was the worst armor I owned, and I owned pretty much all of them. That said, I’m looking forward to this one. The silver parts look much better, and it won’t have the crappy wrists that broke super easily on the original one.

I feel pretty close to the same way. Though the original mk3 was pretty bad. But the mk5 wasn’t great. It’s one of the few iron man figures I’ve left boxed up. And I dig the film look. So I’m pretty excited for this.

Even though I really shouldn't, I do love the idea of getting a red and silver armor of some kind. Just can't decide which would be cooler, this or the 47?

The V does have a really unique look to it, but the fact it was only featured in one scene (albeit a very cool one) does make me a bit hesitant. And of course the 47 looks pretty great too...

The color was way off on the original, but it was still pretty great for the time. I did sell it off eventually, I think after I got the battle damaged MK3 that I still have. I honestly don’t know how many MK3s I have at the moment...Battle Damaged, Stealth Diecast, and regular Diecast minimally. I lose track...I guess I have too many toys. [emoji848]

The only two Diecast I sold off are the MK42 (don’t like the color scheme) and the War Machine MK2 (don’t like the design, and I kept Iron Patriot). I did keep the MK42 Power Pose figure that I really like due to the dynamic pose. I know everyone hates it, but I don’t. *

Well if you go buy current supply, the 47 availability at nonebay businesses is starting to decline. Could likely wait on the 5 for many months after release.

I’d get the 5, since it’s unique, while the 47 is just a repaint. The 47 is one of the rare armors I skipped. Granted if you prefer the 47, get it! I have the 46, and it’s a wonderful Hot Toy figure....one of the best.

Am I the only one who still doesn't really like the 47?... given the chance to buy the 46 or 47, I'd go the 46..

In this case, it would be more, do I want a unique one off appearance suit, probably even more unique than any of the IM3 suits... or do I want one of the lead suits?

The 46 is absolutely gorgeous but something bothers me about it being so red . I can’t explain it . I sold mine and picked up the 47 because I love silver with red. I’m getting him tomorrow so I’ll know when I get it in hand .

I think the 46 is a little too red as well. Still, it's one of my favorites. Seeing the 47 on screen converted me to a fan when I initially thought it was laughable. Still, it's not a figure I would personally spend any money on. I'd easily take the 5 over the 47. If the Silver Centurion were to be remade in diecast, I'd take that over the 47 as well.

I think it depends on your personal preference.For me, I love the silver and red armors such as MK5 and 47.That's why I have the 47 and preordered the 5. They are just different from the standard red/gold scheme that's been used for most of the other armors.

Also such a pity that it'll get delayed. I was anticipating this so much

I don’t much care for the 47 myself. It’s alright. Just not in my top 20

I owned the original MK2, MK3, and MK5. Sold all of them to eventually upgrade to the unleashed MK2 and DC MK3 but wasn’t satisfied with either. I now only own the MK45.

I love the 45 and will most likely only own this one but if I had to choose one more to get it would be this new version of the MK5. It looks amazing.

34?? Must be a beginner. I have 61 Iron Man/ Tony Starks. I have Diecast Mark II, V, IV, and IV and Gantry on preorder. I also have the Infinity Wars Iron Man preordered as well.

Honestly neither the 46 or 47 made a huge impression on me in the actual movies, but as HT figures they suddenly look a whole lot cooler for some reason. Possibly because the color pops a lot more now without that grayish, washed out color tone Marvel likes to use. Or because they don't have that vaguely CG look they usually have on screen.
