Did you order via here at Freaks somewhere or just that Inigo Facebook/Paypal link?

How are you planning to paint it? What worries me is that just the head alone costs $100, then shipping to and from the painter, then the cost of the paint-up, which I can't imagine you could get done by a decent painter for less than $150. The heads starts to hover around the $300 mark all in. That's $50 more than I paid for the whole HT Luke Jedi set shipped.

That being said, that head painted up by someone like silentsurfer would be pretty awesome to behold.

I ordered mine thru the FB/PP link. I’ll have it painted professionally. It definitely gets pricey but it’ll only be the second custom sculpt/paint purchase I’ve made.

Not something I can do on a regular basis but that Luke scene is really iconic to me and I plan on putting him on the skiff base I made so there’s even more incentive for me.

That Inigo sculpt is great. And tempting, but I’d like to see what HT ultimately decides with the Endor figure as that could have the windswept hair piece.

Seriously though - looks great, really interested to see that painted up (though yes, all up that head painted/shipped will easily cost more than a whole HT Luke figure.)

Yeah, I'd LOVE to have that windswept head, but I'm not sure I could stomach $300 to have it. It will look awesome on Coco's stand though. Love that sailbarge railing.

Overall this figure rocks. There are lots of pictures of this figure to see what he looks like in hand. The biggest complaint is that hot toys put in a bit of a fat suit to bulk him up. Some don't look as bad as others. He is an awesome figure for tailoring and likeness. You seem to be bouncing through this and the Vader thread asking everyone to make up your mind. I am not trying to be rude but let the pictures tell you what you need to know. I am happy with this and the Vader figure from Empire but everyone sees things differently.

Agreed. And if you (Vader0706) are really that obsessive with such details, then why not take the time to go through this thread, or just do a quick Google search and compare the brilliant photos taken by collectors (which are all over the place) yourself?

Belt is still a WIP. I just made this today, and haven't had time to make the Buckle.
I also don't have a ROTJ Luke Saber hilt yet, so that will be forthcoming shortly.
I have retailored the costume tunic sides to be a lot tighter than they were to begin with, and the costume is on an altered DAM body that has had the thighs shaved down very skinny, the neck removed and the rubber chest altered.

its exactly the same thing when you take a pic and the head looks large. It’s an iPhone/smartphone camera problem. It looks perfect in hand.
