Only I issue I know is swapping the arm for the lightsaber arm. I haven’t done that on mine yet. Some people have also said the cloak could stain the hands or other skin tones if not rinsed out.

I gave in and ordered this... He looks amazing and a perfect representation of his self from ROTJ. His ROTJ look has always been what I visualise Luke Skywalker straight away when I think of him - even more so than his ESB and ANH looks.

I am going to pose him in front of my two RO and ESB Vaders.

Congrats and trust me he look amazing!! Definitely best representation a of Luke Skywalker in a Hot Toys figure.

What bits have you had problems with, then?

Also, thanks for the other responses!

Do I need to wash the cloak immediately after receiving the figure, then?
If you were to look back at previous forum responses, an honest reply to your question would be the cloak staining, the swapping out of the light-up lightsaber arm and the velcro belt. But they are honestly not huge issues. You can rinse out the robe with some warm water (and/or detergent) but there were not many reports of the staining later on. Just be careful when swapping out the lightsaber as you may damage the cuffs of the customer. The velcro belt is a minor issue but just be careful when handling it to prevent anything from falling off. Just read through the instruction manual provided for any other areas of concern (which if I'm not wrong there isn't anything serious)

Thanks.

I don't plan on washing the cloak in order to not ruin it. I will have it on, but not over his head, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?

I also won't try replacing the arm - i am fine as it will be.

Lastly, isn't the velcro sewed to the belt and not glued? If the former, i don't see problems detaching it.

Thanks.

No problems detaching it, but just be careful not to pull too hard when futzing with it.

Thanks.

And if i decide to wash the cloak, should i do it with hot water/soap and then leave it to dry couple of days before putting it back over?

Isn't that common sense? :rotfl Doesn't have to be hot water per say, warm water would do fine enough. (Please do not ask regarding the temperature of the water)

Haha, will try not to.

Would you say washing it once should be enough to prevent future staining or perhaps several times?

Some have had to do it at least 10 times. Start there just to be safe.

And almost not a single reply from you has been serious or useful regarding my queries.

I am genuinely worried, due to the amount of money I am investing towards such a collectible.

Try washing it with warm water and look to see if any dye comes out. Rinse until no dye is coming out. Hang to air dry and you should be fine.
