I am genuinely worried, due to the amount of money I am investing towards such a collectible.

But I thought you wanted to know how many times you should wash the cloak? Why did you not find my suggestion useful?

Because it's sarcastic. It's obvious it shouldn't be washed 10 times.

I cant believe Popcultcha here in Australia has another delay of stock date for this! First it was June, then August, then October, now bloody December!! We'll be lucky to get this figure in time for Christmas! Not sure what's going on with their distribution but the 6 month delay is pretty ridiculous.

Glad I went through Sideshow direct for this one.

PopCultcha seem to be really hit and miss at the moment. My Deluxe ESB Fett arrived like a month ago yet the regular is still at Pre-order status.
I just hope Emperor Palpatine is a ways off still....give my wallet a bit of a breather.

That's very interesting. First BBToy Store with delays in getting figures from their normal lead-time, now Popcultcha. And Sideshow getting theirs early ???? Doesn't make sense.

Only speculation, but SS must have complained or something to HT. Not sure who the official HT distributor is in Oceania region. But definitely sounds something is up to me.

I would wash it as many times it takes till the dye stopped coming off into the water. You don’t want the sculpt and hands to get stained somewhere down the line.

I rinsed mine with warm water and no soap. Then let it dry over night and I haven't had any staining issues on the hands or head. Not all cloaks had the issue but when I read about it I rinsed it anyway. It also makes futzing it easier.

My black costume has stained my neck already, only shows when I turn the head from a straight on angle to a turn and certain tilt so I'm not too bothered, but it happened.

I never took the white film off his neck... Same with my Anakin.

Can't really see it unless up close. Rather see that than black marks on a stained neck. The fact this still happens though is ridiculous.

Luckily, this hasn’t happened on mine last time I looked. I tried to bend the collar flaps away from the neck as much as possible so it’s not directly in contact with it.

Ok, that bit regarding the neck has me worried (as the colar can't be removed and sits too close to the neck).

Any suggestions on how to not stain the neck? Perhaps leaving the white film as well?

If it stays on, the neck won't get stained, right?

I haven’t had that issue yet but the film should help protect the neck. I might try to trim some clear plastic and stick in there as a buffer. I have had the figure a couple of months and no issues yet though.

If the figure stays without any problems for couple of months, shouldn't the possibility of staining decrease more and more as time passes by?

Its not just Popcultcha, it looks like most of the retailers in Australia don’t have this one yet. I ordered mine through Little Toy Co and they still don’t have and other websites are also saying December.
