I don't actually think this HT has a particularly good likeness of Luke in Jedi... but... I have been around long enough to know that in-hand the HT figure overall will better represent a 1/6th version of Jedi Luke than the Sideshow figure will.

I have yet to see a figure from Sideshow that is better than its HT offering.

This will be the first where the Sideshow has come out after the Hot Toys. So it should be better. :lol
 
Who sculpts the SS figures? US or Asia

US of course. I hope it's Trevor Grove.

Trevor Grove has done some absolutely amazing 1:6 sculpts for Sideshow in the past.

Unfortunately, Sideshow's production and paint process almost always butchers them.
 
Yeah, I believe there have been a few pieces here and there with Trevor's work, like the Luke and Han PFs, but I also think he had done those some time ago, like they had him do a bunch of heads in advance. Pretty sure he mainly works for Tweeterhead now, he did the Ford and Gosling sculpts for NECA's Blade runner figures.
