The chestpiece doesn't make the waste look so skinny there; are people not snapping it on all the way or do Tin's photos just do a good job of hiding the overhang?

He just picked very good angles and matched it with lighting and photgraphy skills
I finally noticed the repeating damage in these real good shots. I actually thought they painted chrome as the base and then painted it red/gold to then scratch it as the chipping is very detailed and has sharp edeges making it very realistic. This new stamping technique truly is amazing. The compromise of patterns being repeated to keep cost low is acceptable in my mind and looking at it it's not so noticable until pointed out and forgivable.

Completely agree. When someone first mentioned that the damage patterns seemed to repeat themselves, I was a bit disappointed in such a lack of effort, but after seeing these pics, I don't think it's such a big deal, especially since the damage is so well done. Besides, it's not like ALL the damage is repeating itself, so it's fine.

I'm not familiar with this 'printing' process. Is it similar to decals?

I definetely have no idea :p But the end result is amazing to say the least. You compare that with the damage they painted onto the helmet it's night and day!

I think it looks great! The new paint really makes it look sharp. When do you think toys2 be getting there shipment.

Not sure why bit Eric is guessing early March is possible too. I think he suspects that they really had the HK shipment ready before CNY. I can't wait to have this in my freakish pawns

Well then! Even better.
