Hot Toys : New DX TDK Joker 2.0 Coming

Didn't take long for the socks and shoes to become the focus.

To try switch the pace, I think this will definitely come with the essentials like the whole wardrobe, knife and handgun. I mean look at the so called Cyberdyne version of the DX T-800: comes with shotgun, sunglasses and hand gun all of which to my knowledge aren't in that scene. I'm happy that it does since I had to down size my collection earlier this year since I was w/o a job and had to sell the MMS version, but it definitely isn't "accurate " to the scene it's supposed to be from.

I think it will come with all the stuff from the first DX release(maybe not the grenade rig). The purple coat, knife and guns are a must though.

While it would be nice if they got the socks right this time, I don't care if they don't.

Since it's now confirmed that this is Interrogation Joker, I'm thinking it will be the following,


--------------------------------------------------------------

- PERS Smiling interrogation head (with a lighter yellow/green hair)

- Improved clown hex shirt, tie, vest, pants and suspenders. Of course the socks and shoes.

- regular hands (for interrogation)

- Interrogation room chair, table and light


--------------------------------------------------------------

- Extra purple overcoat with orange lining and blue sports coat. More accurate, better tailoring brighter/vibrant colors.

- knife shoe
- RPG
- pipe/bar
- snub pistol
- Remington sawed off shot gun
- detonators

- gloved hands for full clown look

Then the mandatory base.

That seems ideal and unique enough to warrant a new version. I really don't want to see the glock, knife, cards or the silly WSS bill notes again. I have enough of those. Newer items would make it damn near definitive. Just new weapons, nothing from previous releases.

They should include accessories and weapons that haven't been done. You know, new stuff. The RPG and Bank Manager shot gun is a must. The shoe knife should also be implemented, especially after the whole T-800 scalp/chip gimmick they used for DX 10.

Look, I've cut & pasted the entire. 1st paragraph that you quoteing (and not altered might I add). This is a straight up cut & paste, no altering:

So do you see what you did? You placed a COMMA inbetween the words "knife" & "shoes". Now I did originaly write the words as two seperat words because to my knowledge its not a compound word. The comma didn't plase its sef there someone had to do it & that someone is you.

Shotgun would be great!

And hey if they can make little tweezers and what not for the T1 and DX T2 figures, they should be able to do a proper scaled pencil

You're right though, I did add a comma. I grade papers during the school year as a TA to help pay for my Tuition. So pardon me if I caught one of your errors.

There's no point in a another head really. The latest figures that should have them, don't. DX 09 Nicholson Joker, DX 10 T-800 , etc. lack an additional head.

What more could they do? We have the Bank Robber, the clean DX with PERS, cop Joker, slight smirk Bank Robber, the dopey V1.

Interrogation was definitely the way to go. I don't think there will be too many options of this Joker, just like there weren't many for the Nicholson version.

well don't we technically have the interrogation head already too? It came with the BR Joker, yet here they are doing it again. So, what's to say that we won't get another clean make-up sculpt too? I'm not saying we need 2 sculpts but I'd welcome it. If it's a good sculpt, I'd buy a spare and have Ski paint it up for me with the clean look

Bank Robber was sort of an amalgamation of different looks of the character throughout the film. I know the black smear on the right is pretty much from the interrogation scene, but I think there are some more effects they could add to mimic the scene.

I know JC. Hong did a repaint of the Bank Robber before it started to ship that captured this. The final production piece still ended up being a bit too clean, in my opinion.
