BTW, there's one thing I've seen they're doing in some human figures which maybe would be cool on a Predator for the first time: being able to remove the "hair" (dreadlocks) and turn the eyes looking in the desired direction. As long as that doesn't mean ruining its look, of course.

Thanks, didn't know that before, I thought it was on newer figures. But it really looks like a cool feature . Maybe the day they do a DX Predator then.

i missed out on the first predator im not paying in the 4 to 500.00 for a figure if its 200.00 im good and i get the kit and just saved my self tons of money .

So, about $300 total...maybe a little more.

I've had this guy like this for about a year. I'll hold off putting him back together until I get this Classic Predator.

Maybe It's just 1 headsculpt.. But why not a second undamaged mask??

Because, what you need to realize, is that Hot Toys is NOT your friend.

They're in the business of making money, just like every other company.

Do you really think they're going to GIVE you an undamaged P1 mask with this, when they can redo this figure later (as the actual P1) and double their profit?

Come on...think rationally.

It's not going to happen with Predator figs.

The Predator is a bigger seller than the T-1000 by a long shot.

They know that Preds are big money makers for them.

So they know that selling this as the Classic and then redoing it later as the P1 will make ALOT more money for them and the fans WILL buy them.

That's NOT an undamaged mask.

As has been PROVEN several pages back, by close-up shots, that mask has the EXACT same damage marks as the battle damaged mask the Pred is wearing.

True, but the only 'proof' pics and close-up shots we've seen don't show that little mask in the promo from another angle. The way it's positioned in the official picture, it's hard to tell if the other side of it is torn up.

Maybe it's not necessarily undamaged -- it could simply be intact. Either way works for me.

You could be right, my friend. But to me it looks like the same mask from what we can see at this angle.
I think the bullet shot looks exactly the same, and so do the scratches -

You mean this? Doesn't PROVE anything to me. The left eye looks intact to me. I'll wait till we see more photos.

Im still betting on it being a complete bio mask. Sure the scuffs and marks all match the one seen on the figure but the picture itself hides the half blown away part. Infact when i look at it more its looking like the left half is complete in my eyes

Both the BD mask and the none BD mask can share the same markings just one will be half blown to hell and the other wont.

Looks that the left side is undamaged in that picture to me.. but we'll have to wait to find out :/

yes..i agree...and we'll find out soon enough i suppose...but logically it doesn't make sense to me that HT would display the same mask twice in the same photo...

I messed with the contrast levels and it kind of appears to show a full mask... still not positive though..

actually on second look, the BD mask doesn't have lens on the left eye, this one appears to have lens on both eyes.

Unless that was photoshopped somewhere along the contrast changing then it is infact a complete mask i think
