best moments for me was Shaw in the medical pod
and the engineer getting raped by the trilobite
didn't care that much for the rest of the movie
but I do want to see that Shaw figure

and btw
carottbuns and starpuffs have never been here at the same time
yes I'm adding to the conspiracy

Among blockbusters I liked Les Misérables more to be honest, but it is such a different film genre that it is hard to compare them. Prometheus was definitely my favourite action/scifi film. Ironically given the theme of this thread of late, I have avoided thinking about its flaws and continuity issues too much. I kind of soured The Dark Knight Rises by doing that.

Les Miserables was definitely in my top 5 of last year. Fantastic film.

I've come to terms with all of the flaws in Prometheus, and they haven't detracted from my love of the film. So when the discussion leans that way, I tend to stay out of it.

now that Star puffs and carrot burn are both gone, The next newbie that posts here will probably be their new identity lol.

After reading the last couple of pages I just learned that Prometheus **** is really weird and really lame.

Retcons always suck.

Carrotpuffs is just as annoying as starbuns.

Wow that was mean , i really hope your 12,000 posts were not the same as this one

I was hoping to go to this thread to have fun and write on the threads that i enjoy .Not bash people that like something that you dont.

Nobody bashed someone because he like or not something but about the way he's acting. I'm not the biggest fan of the movie but i'm annoyed the same by people who hate it blindly that those who are fanatics about it.

I've explained clairly what i did and dit not like about the movie and what i got was you don't get it, its way over your head. Seriously i know the story of that movie and its troubled production like the back of my hand.
Everybody showed respect at first then after being treaton like morons that stupid fanboy got what he deserved.
So **** carrotbun and the like of him :)
I d prefer discussing a movie with people who can have dialogue and go "nananananana i cant hear you what you are saying is nanananana"

Hope HT will skip every figure and go directly to the Engineers, at least it will be cool to pose Shaw against him not just with the other characters in suits.

He's been here longer than you :lol

I was being sarcastic lol a comment like that is just too funny :lol

I mean
(Not bash people that like something that you dont.)

that's like Sideshow Freaks' main rule right there :rotfl

I'm happy to discuss the movie :) just ignore the others if u can.

I'm going all out geek. I'm reading the book Chariots of Gods that RScott said was a inspiration for Prometheus. Fascinating stuff!!!!:)

Nice! just go all out geek! I love it!
I found the book's general premise to be interesting, but many of the details/nuances fall apart under close scrutiny. Doesnt change the fact that i still enjoyed reading it. If you find yourself interested in the idea of previsitation, there are better, more objective, books out there.
