HOT TOYS QS 1/4 Darth Vader (pic courtesy Seanxlong)

The 1/4 Stormtrooper is labeled as being from "A New Hope", but that's not so. Helmet is Empire Strikes Back. But again, it doesn't matter to me. I need this one... maybe two.

The Stormtrooper is 100% A New Hope. Based on the Hero helmet (shorter frown). Empire Strikes Back Stormtrooper helmets had black frowns.

The label for Darth Vader says "A New Hope" there. The figure looks like the ROTS version, but I was thinking something looks different with the helmet/face mask on this sample, more like the ANH version.

Looks like HT are re-thinking and changing this into an OT vader..which is a great move by me

I really hope that this is the case. But i really don't see a change in the Vader aside from the label. It would explain the time it has taken....but it just seems this is the same 1/4 Vader shown since that initial reveal. I can't wait for them to show the "straps" on the chest piece...than I'll know it is trending in a better direction

I'm all in IF this gets amended to an ANH version but I seriously think this will still just turn out to be a generic Vader.

They couldn't do that tho. They'd have to pick one of the Vaders to source for this.
My original hope was that it was an all in one Vader...in that it had 3 separate helmets and different pieces to make each of the Vaders.
A be all end all type of quarter scale VADER.

But I hope they do not make a mashed up Vader. I can't see Hot Toys doing that.

I feel the same way fellas. They're taking so long with this, and this is what they are showing to everyone, so it's possible they are sticking with this.

That would be nice. I can't even imagine what they would have to pay to get that kind of a license though. LOL!

Man that's another figure I'm impatiently waiting for.

I thought all of ESB troopers were reused from ANH and only ROTJ and now RO had different helmets.

I know. Can't just have Vader in 1/4 standing by himself.
I'm tempted to buy a couple of Stormtroopers too! Damn!

They don't seem to be very enthusiastic about their 1/4 department. LOL!
