And your point is?

My point is that I wanted the figure before I saw the movie solely based on the design, but once I saw the movie I'd didn't seem as necessary of a purchase. They look damn cool and have some really neat details in the armor but they got no close up shots and are relegated to background fodder.

They would still look very cool in your collection, background fodder or not :wink1:

Some concept art for the Shoretrooper, thank goodness they did not go with it :lol

Interesting prototype. Thanks for the post. My most hoped-for HT figure from RO is the AT-ACT driver. If that shot in the film corroborates the 3.75" Hasbro fig, then the drivers appear to be clean white versions of the shoretroopers, making them resemble redesigned scout troopers even more. I think they'd look wonderful in 1/6 and would only require a new paint app on HT's part.

The red pilgrims on Jedha come in at a close second.

The AT-ACT pilots are very cool, but with only 2 seconds of screen time.

The pilgrims reminds me a lot of The Traveler from the game Journey. :lol

Anyone know if this is about to drop in Hong Kong like the jedha patrol ones? Or isn't it out for a while? Holding off on vader for this.

I don't think we'll see it for a while unfortunately. I imagine that the base bodies for the Jedha patrol figures were produced at the same time as the single Jedha figure , allowing a quicker release.

What did you expect from troopers? Did you not see the previous 7 movies???

I like pretty much all of the blaster designs for this movie, but one thing that baffles me is why all of the Stormtrooper blasters have Surefire flashlight mounted to them. It seems like they could have dressed it up a little so it wasn't immediately recognizable.
