That's true. I'm guessing that these Troopers see more action that involves various terrains including water so the lack of leg armor makes sense. I like that they've got a uniqueness to them personally.

I don't remember a single shoretrooper or anything they did. I remember the tank guy saying: hit the terrace.

Numbers don't matter if not one of them does anything personal. I don't think any one of them even had a discernible line. Certainly no "moment" to point to.

I don't really remember the extra rebels either. Except the guy who gets the order to pull the trigger. But I don't remember how he died.

This specific Shoretrooper with the blue accents (the captain) gets about 5 seconds of screentime. Slightly regretting my pre-order. still getting the Deathtrooper though despite them having the same problem.

He was hoping he would step out, get a spot light, and start quoting Hamlet.

I don't know why all new bad guys have to have some major significant role now for people to consider them memorable. The Stormtroopers were literally just created to be fodder. People are just so fond of them because they were the first.

At least the death troopers can hit their targets unlike stormtroopers except for when the force intervenes.

I'm going to need one of these. I'm currently working on a Scout Trooper armor for myself, and can easily see myself building a Shoretrooper in the future.

No matter how much they did in the movie the design is still great.

I really don't know what people are expecting going into movies these days. They're just regular stormtroopers with different armor. Just because the design is different doesn't mean the movie is going to pause so they can dance for you and give you a 360 degree breakdown of what they look like.
