The belt has a different attachment method to the previous belt. I tried to open it using the same method but it tore quite easily. So anyone buying it please take it easy when trying to open it.

The cod piece is easy to remove and replace. If anyone is looking for a spare I have one from the RO figure.

Hmm, was planning to use that SS codpiece for the RO Vader. But now I'm wondering if it might be a little too small and it would be better to hunt down a ANH codpiece...

I'll keep my sideshow till hot toys make a rotj or esb then I'll upgrade. No point in owning 5 vaders at least that's my opinion
The biggest issue I have are sideshow gloves. Anyone have a solution I'm all ears. I'd modify him with a guide I just don't Want to spend a ton extra when hot toys will do rotj later.

Which of the two do you prefer? I haven't seen them in hand, the chestbox on the SS doesn't look as well painted as the HT one or is that just a trick of the light? The cod piece on the SS one looks like plastic (which i'm sure it is anyway) but the HT one looks like it is made to look like leather?

Awesome pic! The mask looks so much better than the SS DX. Less slack jawed wolf and more Vader looking like Vader.

According to BBTS, I'll have mine in January! So hype!
