That wasn't the issue though. He literally appeared in ZERO movies after ESB & ROTJ in the 80s (Slipstream and Fall of The Eagles went straight to video). While Han Solo/Indiana Jones was getting great films like Blade Runner, The Mosquito Coast and Witness, Luke Skywalker vanished from mainstream cinema.

A bad agent can kill your career. Or drugs (Carrie Fisher).

That wasn't the issue though.

I don't know. I was alive and aware back in the day and no one wanted to see Hammill in anything. Not even Corvette Summer. He just wasn't a good actor or interesting in any way. He may have also had a bad agent but I never heard a word about that, back in the day.

Harrison Ford was saved by being interesting, a strong leading man... and having Indiana Jones cut past his Han Solo baggage.
