So has anyone heard definitively if this guy is getting some sort of reissue? I mean, they had him on display at SDCC, with a "$250" price plaque. And he's on sideshow's "coming soon" page. And both are clearly the R1 Vader and not whatever that ROTJ Vader prototype was pictured in the official Luke ROTJ photos.

I'd say ANH with a few R1 parts are the best Vaders I've seen.

That's probably the recipe for the best Hot Toys ANH Vader--I added the shin guards from Rogue One and the helmet too as I preferred the darker glossy look under the lights. The ANH version was reading as a bit too gray for me under the detolf lights.

Everything ANH except for the gloves and belt w/boxes (Chest box optional - which I like more). Not a fan of glossy anything. I'd prefer my Vader completely dulled metal/matte finished. Just like with regular action figures (such as Marvel Legends), I think the glossiness makes it look more toy-like. Shinny things are for birds and babies.

Like the second runs of ANH Solo, Chewie, Obi-Wan and Vader, I doubt anything would be different on a second run of R1 Vader. I imagine it'd merely a second run of the already existing figure, not a version 2.0 per se.
