Also ironic that the Letoker actually does look like a "lifelong bachelor". :lol

And he looked a bit like Jesus.

When Warners were issuing replacement Blu ray discs due to faults I requested them, but hadn't actually bought the set.

They've been sitting sealed up since. The appearance of the Romeroker put me in the mood to try them out.

The quality's so high I bought the set - Amazon UK have them for £39.99.

I've never seen the series look so good!

Did you buy the season sets or the Collectors Edition? The Collectors Edition required the set's serial number

I'm excited for this figure, but want to see it without the dramatic lighting.

I must have missed something. Can someone point me to where it was confirmed that this is actually being produced?

Someone reported that a collector on a Batman forum was assured by a Hot Toys rep that this was happening, and more '66 characters could be forthcoming, but the Batmobile would not be made. I think that's the closest we've gotten to a confirmation, though it's nothing authoritative.

I'd say JC Hong's photos of the head are the closest thing to confirmation we've seen. Has he ever shared photos of a proto that didn't come to fruition? Anyway, I'm kind of hoping this goes up after Spook. It'd be cool if I was able to get it for free.:lol

Hot toys can kiss my ass. Let's make 2 deloreans, but not the 66 batmobile. Let's also show it again at our batman show just to dangle the carrot in front of the horse. Glad to get Romero, but not getting the 66 batmobile will leave a big hole in my collection. Wish someone else would pick it up like blitzway.

I could not care less about the Batmobile. Just not practical to my collection.

I could not agree more. Nice novelty but cannot imagine giving up the money and space that could go to several 1/6 figures to own or more importantly display this...

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl.

I wanted that Batmobile too more than anything HT dared to produce. But they let us down with no explanation. That is just insane how they lost $$$$ over not doing that project. I was willing to pay close to a grand for it, cause I believe you get what you pay for. Watch I doubt they will even do the SW cockpit.

They are also commited to doing a Catwoman ( and maybe Batgirl later on) but remember, their license is with the 66 Film, so I'd be surprised and pleased if they did a Newmar as she wasn't in the movie.

I would pay a grand also brother. That vehicle got me collecting hot toys and 1:6 figures. I also doubt falcon cockpit will be done aslo. They show us items and then go dark with no intel given. Look how long it took to get Returns Batman. Still makes no sense to make more figures if the so called demand is not there.

...or the Tie fighter...or the tie interceptor...or Rey's speeder...

This is where the whole thing falls off the rails. How is it profitable to make figures from a license that's a so called loser with low demand? Why not just can the whole line figures and all. Wouldn't be the first time they tucked tail and ran...Transformers Optimus Prime anyone...

Obviously. That is why we've yet to see it go to production. :lol

How many other things collectors have wanted have not gone into production? Is their a demand for returns Catwoman and Penguin? Yes, but is that in production? I guarantee you more want than not. Especially us who are later on in years who can afford and will make the room for it. The batmobile is still getting talked about in this thread and it's own. You have a right to an opion. I am going by what I have seen in both threads and I have been following it for a while. I just think you are wrong.

You can think what you want. But if you think Hot Toys wouldn't mass produce it in an IronManMinute if it was as sure profit for them as you would like to believe, it would have have been produced a year ago. They have the license. You have to ask yourself why it hasn't come out nearly 3 years (I think) after the proto debuted. Because they want to tease or piss customers off? If the demand doesn't meet their price point , it won't happen.

No demand = No production. It's simple.

Apparently the license was not too expensive since they feel the need to add Romero Joker only as of now and possibly Catwoman and Batgirl. How much money did they actually lose on designing the 66 batmobile? But they have the money to build a 1:6 tiefighter and millennium falcon? I call bs. The 66 is a plastic car with rubber tires and led lights. Blitzway is a smaller company and is as of now making the ecto 1. I do not think they have more disposable income to make it and lose money. It will be more detailed and more to it than the 66.

Well, I doubt the Tie Fighter or the full Falcon will ever make it to production either. I'll be surprised if the even the cockpit makes it. Again, demand has to come into alignment with the price point they have in mind. If it doesn't match they aren't going to spend the amount in R&D they would need to produce it if it's going to be far above the price point.

This one is getting heated but I will wade in anyway...Hot Toys is a business and I do not think that two (or even 20) people on a thread saying that they would pay a grand for a bat mobile is enough to justify making it in the minds of Hot Toys. People saying they will pay all kinds of prices on a thread does not necessarily mean that those same people will actually choose to buy it when it comes out either. I can imagine that some corner of the frame will be too straight or the red on the bat symbol will be too dark or too bright and then the "buyers" will revolt and demand the heads of Hot Toys executives for daring to release a thousand dollar bat mobile with these tiny details not being perfect (to them). Hot Toys is not in business to lose money so I can only imagine that they did the math and determined that demand was not there....regardless of what any one says I cannot imagine that it would not be smarter for Hot Toys to gamble on selling $249.99 Romero figures that can slip neatly onto most casual collector's shelves than a $1,000.00 Bat Mobile....
