Just dropping a quick note to tell you guys that if you are thinking of getting this figure, I would advise double boxing. It seems HT changed the shipper box to a much thinner and cheaper cardboard. Who would have thought that was possible? Its literally like a slip case thickness over the art box. Im hoping this isn't a trend for future releases.

I noticed the same thing and mine was bent pretty bad. Thank God the art box was fine.

LIST OF PROBLEMS for HT CODY (for internet search optimization)

Right arm falls off
Loose armor
Dweeb shoulders
Guns don?t fit in hands
Left shoulder antenna falls out
Can't hold helmet under his arm (for long, it falls... and loose antennae breaks)
Looks like Tom Cruise

Anything else?

Folding stock not working properly. Cannot open past the pistol grip.

He can hold it but if he ever drops it you will be getting out the superglue.

Which is no different than every other HT ever made lol

Even the best figure posers eventually drop an accessory they thought was stable on the figure and splat!

Not accurate.

For whatever odd and dumb reason it was not designed to slide over.

You would be correct if some were able to do it but none can do that therefore it was designed that way.

It was lazy and cost cutting on their end.

I can see why they'd choose not to make it functional as it's never seen unfolded either in the movie or animated show. But then, wy make that piece movable in the first place?

What's even more surprising, Sideshow's version i believe they helped developing had a similar feature working properly and they even managed to build a E-11 blaster with working folding stock as well.

Well said

Odd indeed

Hit the hands with a hair dryer for about 20 seconds and the guns will go in. Worked for me. If possible do this before you put the hands on the arms.

See for me the problem of the hand softness I could easily move the fingers.

But even if you were to heat the hands and make them super soft and easy to manipulate I still found that the gun handle just isn’t properly sized and shaped for the hand.

The gun still sits awkward and loose.

I’m only referring to the left gun grip hand for the shorter rifle that is all I tried.

Something went wrong lol

I honestly don’t see that as a problem especially since I was able to get mine flush with the shoulder.

Look if you are in need of a cool looking clone trooper do yourself a favor and get this guy before he becomes another ridiculous $450 item on Evilbay!

I don’t even like the PT that much yet this guy in his O66 pose looks super bad ass on my shelf.

Ignore the sporadic issues complaints.
Ignore the digital paint complaints.
Ignore the incompatible hand grip complaints.
Ignore the character having a non existent arc in the actual movies and being known only for a famous pose while being given the famous order from the man himself

If you love SW you need this guy in that particular pose on your SW shelf nuff said.

Now that I think about it did Palpatine only ever have words with Cody O66, his imperial guards when he said leave us and the one commander when he said fire at will commander.

Only 3 (Cody, Guard, Commander)

Cody got the most dialogue from the emperor and the only trooper!

Cody in an exclusive trooper club lol

Mine also has a very wobbly left should joint. The right one is nice and firm. I can pick a pose and it stays in place. The left shoulder has so much give. I already requested a replacement for a broken piece, but now I’m considering trying to exchange it, because it feels like the left arm might fall off:(

I hope these defects are only affecting a very small percentage because it is making me reconsider selling my Sideshow Phase II Cody.

Dont, the thing is a beaut.

Some issues here and there but the only major problem I have is the right arm (swap out for the hologram is probably the issue) and the damn battery case not coming off lol.

Far superior to Sideshow's in every way.

The end part of the stock fell off of mine out of the box and that was after a complete Cody replacement. The first one had a problem with the helmet. It had a tacky glue under the eye areas like a wash had gone wrong and the weathering was much grimier that other peoples. Must have had the trainee painter. :slap

Man i must have been lucky. No problems at all here
