The only piece of this figure I need is the head (and maybe the neck).

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

If I were interested in this figure, I'd be sure to buy an Avengers Evans head to replace the one it comes with.

What do a pair of "Google's" look like?

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

i think the HS looks more like Ronaldo

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

Looks like Evans to me.

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

I think he looks great in this photo. Looks like Chris here. Also I think the lighting is best here from all the photos. And Chris isnt blonde, hes got dark brown hair. They gave him lighter highlights in the movie and you can sort of see them in the HTs photo where you can see his hair. Im guessing the lighting is making it look darker.

Aye he's a dead ringer for Evans in this shot, makes me laugh how vehemently certain people are picking this figure to pieces even though they never had any interest in buying it to begin with :cuckoo:

Seriously this is nothing like the actor even with the helmet on.
It looks more like Keanu Reeves in this picture.

Evans' eyes are very obviously blue. The figure's are not.

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

Looks like a really nice figure but not one I would want in my collection. Cap isn't my favourite, so I am happy with my Avengers pre-order and that will be the lot for him. In fact I only plan to pick up 1 of each character and only upgrading each one if they release a better version.

Again I love the hyperbole here. "[N]othing like the actor" would be a sculpt of Gandhi or Ella Fitzgerald.

Then to prove your point you compare the helmeted face peering to screen right, with a moving gif, turned screen left, in low lighting, not wearing a helmet.

Will they have this on display at the Hot Toys store? Those store front videos always help make up my mind about a figure.

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

This thing is too expensive.

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

Just ordered mine now, got home from work and was wondering if it would still be available. I ordered it right away then looked at the pics, not the best sculpt of evans as I think the avengers version head sculpt looks better but I love the leather jacket and outfit on this version. Maybe the head will look better in hand, not that it looks bad, but its not perfect. I'm looking forward to this one etherway:)

Re: Hot Toys – SDCC 2012 Ex - Captain America TFA: Captain America Rescue Version

I have every Marvel and DC figure on order possible and have bought every Marvel and DC figure from SSC since mid 2010. And of course I ordered this Rescue Cap today.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why I am so hesitant to get The Amazing Spiderman. And the odd part is, Spidey is my favorite hero. I am actually a bit baffled. :dunno:dunno:slap:slap
