Bought , this with the 1st Capt. release will look killer. Passed on the poofish looking Avengers suit Capt.

I see more than enough resemblance to the actor to pull the trigger.

Thougth that this look in the movie was killer.

Wished it was a 2 in 1 release, but o-well.

2-3 weeks for shipping, can it be true?

Just to put it into perspective ( I know it doesn't matter) I paid $230 for DX Jack Sparrow. which had 2 pers heads, his costume and alll that other stuff.

And this figure plus tax would cost me $235

Just got confirmation from Josh at AlterEgo that this is a true exclusive and they will definitely not be getting this. I assume that means none of the of the retailers will be either.

There used to be an accepted line of succession for threads. A teaser thread -> Official specs thread -> post-release photos thread. No complaints for a while.

Then the photo threads got the chop. I liked the idea of axing the photo threads, and I think it's acceptable to lock down the teaser threads once the official pics thread is started. I don't want to wade through dozens of pages of frequent garbage posts to find new pics if the mods or teaser thread creator are too lazy to place the new pics in the opening post.

Yeah, that's really the SOP for Hot Toys threads now, though sometimes it works differently for one reason or another (happened with the Star Wars Luke thread for some reason that I can't recall--possibly just a different norm for the way 1/6 Star Wars figure threads have worked for those collectors). Teaser thread, then thread where first post is the official pics. The statue related threads work a bit differently, but due to convention or an interest by Sideshow in folks going to their site, folks don't always post all the official pics together on the forum.

I like the current system as I like being able to easily follow a conversation once the official pics are out. There could also be an argument for following conversations once they arrive in-hand (thus, the photo threads) but I think the admin thought there were just too many threads at that point.

Aside from the mystery headsculpt, my only complaint for the outfit is that it seems a tad baggy and the pants are a bit too bright. I guess if HT doesn't fix that I'll dirty it up as a mod and see if I can tighten the coat somehow.

On the comments section of this figures photo album on the SS FB page, SS has said that this is scheduled to be released at the end of July. If that's true, it would have to be on the boat and on it's way now right?

I am just glad Sideshow handle the Exclusive PO alot better now.
No more stress, cut down on the f&*king flippers out there and items are way easier to get which I like.
I'm thankful for that.
