I'd possibly consider a few prequel trilogy characters but I won't be too upset if Hot Toys doesn't visit those films or if it takes them a while to get to those figures. I'd mostly take Obi-Wan and Anakin from Revenge of the Sith. I'd also consider Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul from The Phantom Menace and possibly a Count Dooku. Other than those, meh.

11 figures is a high number for 1 year. For me I will likely go after most of them unless something is a huge miss. My concern is what else hot toys has in the pipeline during that timeframe as well. Star Wars takes priority though.

I can see all 11? announcements taking place over the next year, leading up to the release of VII, with delivery over the course of the next two to three years.

They're not releasing 11 figures in a year. Preorder. Spread out over two years more likely.

Lando is a pretty major character to skip over in my opinion. I'm not sure about Tarkin either but if they're doing six more figures from A New Hope I can't think of who else they'd do. Han and Chewie are taken care of so that leaves Luke, Obi-Wan, and Leia as obvious choices. A Storm Trooper seems logical as does a Vader. I can't think of a sixth character to make though other than Tarkin.

This was my logic, as well. Assuming the timeline is accurate (all for pre-order before Ep VII hits) -- along with it being 6 characters from ANH -- I just have real difficulty believing they'd go for 3PO and R2. That'll be two 3PO's and an R2 released before their pre-order. While a lot of us will buy duplicates, they're also cutting a lot of people out who will make the tough choice to pass on the droids to get more coveted stuff that they don't have one version of, let alone two. Tarkin does seem a bit of a secondary character for HT, but it'd be a day one purchase for me and I'm sure many others.

No love for Jabba? I would buy Jabba much quicker then Tarkin...

I'm just looking forward for slave Leia, and Jedi Luke.

Maybe Vader and Boba Fett. Boba with a Sarlacc base would be absolutely badass.

The source said they would try to get most of them revealed before the new movie hits. I suspect we'll probably get 10 reveals including Han and Chewie before EP VII.

Regarding Tarkin. I would be surprised if he isn't one of the ANH figures. I can't see them doing R2 and 3PO, so after Leia, Luke, Vader and Stormie are done the last two surely have to be Tarkin and Obi Wan. The only other option is a Sandtrooper and something out of left field like Greedo.

If HT do R2 and 3PO I suspect it will be down the line as part of their EP VII schedule.

Yep, that would be guess, as well. Stormtrooper and Tarkin from ANH, with the droids being saved for Ep VII. I'm sure their design won't be messed with, for this very reason.

I see Tarkin as a SSC release. He's really more at the level of Greedo and that level's SSC territory from now on.

And glad to hear everyone's thoughts on a HT Palps - I have a throne with no Emperor! Just don't love the SSC Emperor enough to grab it after-market.

Really excited that a HT Jedi Luke's pretty much a certainty.

You'd think it would be likely they'll be some kind of EP VII versions of the droids, but then Medi and SSC released their Henry Jones figs within a few months of each other. Maybe HT just wouldn't care others had done the same fig within the previous two years.

Slave Leia by HT just seems SO obvious. I'd be really surprised if they didn't do that fig. It's such a popular look at conventions and it would sell out fast if it came out well.

It will be a tougher sculpt to nail than most people think though - Carrie was still hot-ish but starting to look a little matronly from certain angles by ROTJ.

I would too, especially considering the coming of the Scout Troops, more just thinking aloud than anything tho. Im sure one of the companies (SSC or HT) are going to be charged with producing Rebels stuff.

I'm still hoping that....despite all the chatter to the contrary...that Hot Toys will still produce an Anakin Skywalker from Ep II or III....

I'm pretty disappointed about lack of PT too. Well to be more specific, I'm pretty disappointed if Ep2 Anakin and Obi-Wan aren't on the horizon. I can't wait to see what Hot Toys could do with a McGregor sculpt and Sideshow have never given Ep2 Anakin a try have they?

Apart from last week when I ordered a Shiny Clone, I haven't bought a 12" Star Wars figure since the Ep3 Anakin figure back 2006. I'm sure Hot Toys will change that.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE HT to make a Bespin Lando - he's one of my faves.

I think Jedibear said it best earlier though; despite the online chatter - till it's all confirmed.. who knows, so by all means - let's wish away in the meantime.
