I already do. And I can't wait!

I only have ANH Vader from Sideshow 2009. So he's easily replaceable. I passed on SS Deluxe Vader. Very.... I say VERY... happy I did now.

I know of only 2 other figs in full development right now. My source never said anything about 11 figs revealed before the end of 2015. I know they have designs and concept art for way more than that. If I had to make an educated guess based on some very reliable info I would say we will see about 5-6 OT figs revealed(including Han and Chewie) and 1 or 2 PT, before we start seeing Ep VII stuff mixed in. And from what I've heard HT EpIII Anakin is still coming. I may be wrong but my contact seems pretty sure.

I don't know if this comes as a relief or disappointment. A relief because it gives us a little more breathing room, disappointment in that we're still going to be buying at least some of these anyway, if not all of them. A Vader reveal in 2015 ostensibly would be cheaper than a Vader reveal in '16 or '17.

Yeah, I had a number of issues with the Deluxe actually. If I didn't, I would have it in hand right now. Vader's the ultimate character for me. But regardless of people thinking that HT is gonna cut Sideshow a break and wait to release their own Vader... I have VERY high hopes that I will see the HT preview of Vader before March of 2015.

If there were ONLY two figures coming out, aside from Chewie and Han within the next six months or whatnot, I'd want ANH Vader and Stormtrooper.......

I could live with my Sideshow ANH Vader -- upgraded cape, tunic, body, and I have a set of light-up belt boxes to add.

So I'm really rather excited at the prospect of making my 2nd Vader an HT Vader from ROTJ... perhaps with the whole reveal head thing too.

I'm not so interested in Jedi Luke... although he is a figure that despeerately needs to be brought into the modern age. And I understand given the premise of the new movie that JEDI LUKE is a key transitional figure so he must be done.

Absolutely. ANH is my favorite look so I could happily take an HT version. Probably make mine look like a Hasbro toy as usual.

I'm going with the 'leaks' that its actually going to be Luke/Vader ROTJ. Makes the most sense as a lead-in to the new movie.

Wow this thread is making me cancel all my SS preorders and halt buying any SW figs until more Hot Toys announcements.

I was down for Hoth Luke, Hoth Han, and ROTJ Vader, and was planning to buy General Grievous, but now I'll wait. I'll keep jango and scout trooper though. I doubt HT will touch those...

I may still pick up grievous. He's PT and I doubt HT would really improve anything.

Only thing I disliked about Vader's suit in ANH was his helmet's lenses. They had an orange tint and looked like cheap sunglasses lol.

Also prefer the shoulder armor above the cloak and hoping for a removable helmet with sebastian shaw head sculpt... So ESB or ROTJ please. Imagining Shaw's sculpt by HT...

I just know Vader, my contact is not very versed on the subtle differences... nor does she care. I get info like..."luke in a black outfit".
