I have to agree, the face has lost some of the subtle detail and the puffy cheeks. Im hoping it wont be as apparent in hand and at normal viewing distance in the cabinet.

Yes. The indent, the cleft, his butt chin. It's rounded now.

It really does look airbrushed. Hopefully that's the case, though it would be an odd choice for "final product" photos.

There's little chance those "final" photos are not Photoshopped. Besides that, this looks like the case of Bespin Luke, just differences in photography, including lighting.

I'm hoping for home-run head sculpts from HT and Sideshow on ANH Luke - one to sell, one to keep.

It's part of Hot Toys' evil plan to instigate Phase One: panic brought about by bad photos...

There's little chance those "final" photos are not Photoshopped. Besides that, this looks like the case of Bespin Luke, just differences in photography, including lighting.

Looking at the current photos on the order page the dimple comes and goes, so is probably quite subtle and strongly dependent on lighting and photography.

Already jumping ship from photos. Watch everyone freak out, then Paramore will get it in hand, take better photos then everyone will praise. Why not just wait until it starts getting in people's hands then make that call? Every SW release, it's the same thing.

This whole critiquing thing gets tedious sometimes , every figure that comes out is the same steps. There is never ever going to be a figure that is 100% correct. I know they are expensive and everyone has their own opinions but people need to manage their expectations and not get so trigger happy with potential cancels just from a couple of photos. At the end of the day they are still toy collectables not miniturised humans......or aliens depending on figure

Looks like a standard HT production 'soft sculpt' there. Not surprising.

Han head appears to be the smirking one shown in the falcon display at the summer cons.
