OK how are these going to be different than the Sideshow Stormtroopers?
Maybe a better body underneath the armor.
The armor suits look just like the Sideshow versions.
Only thing that will be different will be the price of maybe $289.99 if they're a two pack!

Thing could change, but they're definitely and without question, advertising this specific set as Stormtroopers, not Han and Luke in disguise. So if Han and Luke sculpts show up, it could be a nice surprise, just don't expect it. Like I mentioned before, there are those two curious black squares on the mock-up box art that should show some additional pack-in content.
No two companies have produced exactly the same results for trooper armor, and this is no different. Immediately you should see that the codpiece is much bigger (and therefore more movie-like) than the one on Sideshow's troopers.

IMO those Stormies look like a massive improvement on SS. Additional head sculpts or not.

How can you not notice a difference? Helmet is different, cod piece, legs, belt, that's not even going off hi res pics.

I'll just wait to see if this is only a two-pack or if HT will sell them as singles as well.
If there are singles, I might just get two tall troopers, if the price is better than the two-pack. I already have two short Medi-troopers...

It seems to me this set is two regular Stormtroopers (one little shorter) where you can swap the Ep IV Han Solo head onto one ST and when the inevitable Luke/Leia set comes out..Luke's head can be swapped onto the shorter ST

I'm betting that's what this is. A Luke and Han disguised as Troopers would be easy sells as Toy Fair Exclusives at some point. No reason to put those variants out right away when we know Han is coming already and Luke is likely in the works.

I'm sure people will be able to get top dollar for SSC troopers for a long time to come. I don't see the prices falling to the floor simply because Hot Toys has their own version coming out. A lot of buyers (and sellers of course) on eBay be nuts.
I have to laugh..to whom y'all selling your SSC Stormtroopers to? Anyone with a brain is gonna hold on to their cash until the Hot Toys version PO's
