It's likely this stuff has only been in development since they knew the license was coming - Luke was far too long ago, unless they're breaking out old designs. I can't see it taking more than a year. Hot Toys has an insane amount of experience in development and procurement and I'm sure they can turn things over very quickly. When you're at this level, these things aren't as challenging as one might imagine and every figure release is an iterative process in many ways. The most elusive thing will always remain attention to (small) details. That last few percent is always the hardest, and that's not something unique to this industry.
