They need to fix the DLT-19, that was not just a simple MG-34, there were t-tracks added on the barrel. SSC and GG were the only company making is right, Medi, Attakus and Marmit missed it.

Isn't chewie a little tall for a stormtrooper?

the shorter trooper looks kind of squat & fatter but fitting which makes me think that the two armors were cast separate.............or at least parts of it.

About the height difference. What if they are just two different height stormtroopers. But, if you also own The HT Han, Chewie, and the obvious forthcoming farm boy Luke that is coming. Now, all of your figs are interchangeable, you can leave them as stormtroopers, add Chewie...or swap the heads with reg. Han and Luke and you have correctly sized Han and Luke in trooper disguise.

Oh, and they are not clones!

this ^^^ already said this.....you'll have to buy Han and Luke to swap heads onto the Stormtrooper (which is why the two height differences)......Luke and Leia will probably be sold as a set aswell

It may not be a perfect comparison but Sideshow's Echo and Fives Clone trooper 2-pack is $180-$200. Fingers crossed these can stay in that range.

When has Hot Toys ever released a build-a-bear part-it-out-and-be-left-with-incomplete-figures release? More than likely they'll just release a full Han and Luke in Stormtrooper disguise set when they''re good and ready. Why would they leave money on the table by having you part out another figure? That just doesn't make any business sense whatsoever.

This is Hot Toys, not someone on the forum releasing kit-bash parts.

The recent Armory with 3 full figures was a great example of a value release. The Han Solo single and Chewie two-pack was not. Unfortunately you never know with Hot Toys, it can go any which way. but I'm with you, under $300 would be a pleasant surprise, $250 would be something to let out a victory yell.

I actually think this goes up on pre order within the month. I mean the Han and Chewie came out of no where.
Plus, I can't imagine these guys would be as difficult to make.

They look great and I agree that they are stormtroopers only with a future Luke/Han variant coming later. Although I like the Build A Bear idea! Lol

I definitely see an improvement over Sideshow's, but I'm perfectly happy with the Sideshow versions so this is a big pass for me. Gotta be choosy and not blow all my funds at once! I may track down the mouse droid though!

I'm hoping for $300.00 as this should be a massive run but probably it will be a bit higher. Really looking forward to these going up. Can see this getting pretty expensive as the temptation to army build them is huge. Definitely my favourite design of all the troopers.

Yes, it definitely seems they were not idle during the long wait between Bespin Luke and the Han/Chewie pre-order.

Actually, in some scenes in the movie it didn't have t-tracks on the barrel.

Will have to pass on these for now, just too much coming down the pike. Should be readily available in the future, if you don't need the mouse droid, etc.
