Yes, it definitely seems they were not idle during the long wait between Bespin Luke and the Han/Chewie pre-order.

Yeah, all the finger pointing & pitchforking was perhaps a little unwarranted..

Yeah, I think it's a little early to be declaring SSC Star Wars A corpse. HT has just taken over an already existing license, SSC will probably continue pumping out 10 new clones per year and doing whatever. Since Joe products have basically come to a halt or slow trickle universally anyone who takes that line as a sign of SSC's health... well, they are just special people.

There's more than a few of those here.

Isn't chewie a little tall for a stormtrooper?

the shorter trooper looks kind of squat & fatter but fitting which makes me think that the two armors were cast separate.............or at least parts of it.

Stormtrooper disguise Porkins figure. He was a master spy and infiltrator. No one ever suspects the fat guy.

Actually, in some scenes in the movie it didn't have t-tracks on the barrel.

I've noticed that too. But this way is just an MG34

If the Heavy Blaster is made exclusive. Does that mean when the inevitable Sand Troopers turn up, there will be no long Blasters for those guys?

That's how I'd like to see it. Sandtrooper 3-pack with all three Troopers at different heights (need the third to be between the two Stormtroopers), each one with a different colored pauldron, lots of weapons, different backpack details, some exclusive content for the set. Then a single Sandtrooper release which includes all three pauldron colors.

That's how I'd like to see it. Sandtrooper 3-pack with all three Troopers at different heights (need the third to be between the two Stormtroopers), each one with a different colored pauldron, lots of weapons, different backpack details, some exclusive content for the set. Then a single Sandtrooper release which includes all three pauldron colors.

Also varying levels of dirty....let's face it. With this trooper base figure, there is a ton of money to be made. I hope that fact would keep costs lower since the development work will more than pay off in variants.

What if there were 5 or 7 different weathering paint apps that were cycled as the troopers passed through the production line? That would create some additional variety in the 3-packs, making it likely that yours wouldn't be the same as your neighbor's.

Think I will dirty up a few myself. Never a huge fan of printed weathering.

Can't wait to see some more pics of these, I think they look amazing.

you can find the DLT-19 for sale separately. I have an extra Marmit one as we speak. These things are not/will not be hard to find.
