Love that scene. We can all identify.

When I was in college, the couch in my building caught fire, thanks to a cigarette. Me and a bunch of friends drove about hundred miles to another state to pick up a couch someone was throwing out! Oh college, the good ol' days!

It's not him. The helmet as we have seen it from the pics is not as good as we might think. We still need better high res images to see if HT nailed it or not.

ok, its you and him. lower half is a huge improvement alone - in the mic area

I 'assume' you are looking at the dome part of the helmet? if I am guessing correctly as to what you all are seeing, we shall see

Im tempted to get this. My only other star wars figure is vader, but at the same time im sure we have a lot of cool episode 7 stuff on the way that i should probably save for.

Yes, save for Ep. VII. Stormtrooper was always a terrible design, and most people never liked it, especially in 1977. Damn Lucas.

May get one, you can never realy have enough troopers, but it will really depend on the final cost. Sc needed some tweeking, but at the price point it was, it was a decent offering.

Considering Ep VII will be new to the market I wonder if Hot Toys will try and milk Ep VII characters as much as possible...

Well of course. Wouldn't you? That's why they're blasting us with OT characters right now. The flood of OT is now until Dec 2015, so enjoy. Once the movie rolls out, I think the tide will switch.

Of course, if the movie is weak -- or even bad -- that may affect what is ultimately released. But its likely that the movie will be enjoyable and, even if not ESB level, its likely to come in as #3 best Star Wars film anyway (got to be better than ROTS or ROTJ - depending on your age one of those two usually takes the #3 spot).

They best get blasting then. I'm sure Disney will be on their backs to deliver once the movie is out. It will be interesting to see whether SS and HT's set out to release the same characters as imagine both will want to do the main characters first.

Its such a basic barebones suit design and doesnt seem to come with much. Cant see how it could be more expensive than HT catwoman, so $130-150?

130-150 Would be the sweet spot for these, ESPECIaL:y if they keep them open edition as sideshow has with their recent clone offerings.

This is hot toys we are talking about.... We are going to get tons of Han Solos. One day we will be complaining about the 2.0s and rehashes.

I don't doubt it... they'll pick a character and run it into the ground. We'll get a medal ceremony Han as a con exclusive, then a Bespin version with the jacket and an Endor Han.
