I won't be picking this figure up, but it is good to see more female figures out there, and it seems to have hit the mark for most fans of the movie. As for the knees... a bit of foam padding carefully shaped and inserted would probably provide a natural look. It's no more of a mod drama than paper clips and custom capes.

I did read that article, interesting, but not convincing. I just think it was ill conceived but pretty to look at. And the fact I own it on Blu Ray obviously means I don't hate it... I was just disappointed it wasn't something more!

Being serious here I didn't get that impression at all.
The review to me said excellent figure of a pos movie.
That's just the impression I got.
I don't care if people like it or not different strokes for different folks but I came for the review of the figure. I didn't need the optional movie review or for any movie for that matter.
When I log on to MCW website I am there for the toy reviews not movie reviews. I am usually familiar with the property of the figure I am buying so it's the figure review that is important.
Other then that it was a great review especially the photos.

Saw new pictures on the Hottoys facebook page. Some people really need to get that non-sculped hair styled a little bit, she looks so messy on some of them!
I can't wait her to her home, i'm all in to the engraving details, and the 1911 charms ( for the love of god, they are so tiny and detailed considering their microscopic size ). Not very much into the knees articulations look, but with a good pose, problem solved !

I agree with Hicks that opinions of the movie are not necessary and ultimately distracting from the review of the figure itself. I mean, if anyone takes the time to read this review, they've already made up their minds that the movie was either good enough or otherwise irrelevant to their interest in the figure anyway.

I called up one of the figure stores in AUS and they say we'd get it around the end of this month.
