I don't think people were so upset at not getting Chris Reeve,as just wanting to be reassured that he's being made. That being said,if HT had no intention of revealing him this winter, but rather, throwing a bone to the rabid fans, then that's on them.In all honesty,I believe we'll see him between now and march because if HT didn't feel the utmost confidence in having it done in time,I'm pretty sure that they would've gave us a simple "we're working on it."

The fact that they didn't do that with Indy, and most definitely should have, has me worried. :lol

The problem, is like Indy, people's expectations are going to be unachievable given the importance of the character to people. Honestly unless HT shrunk down to scale a Reeve in his supe suit people will not be satisfied. And say they did, unless the photographer got the lighting right people will still find fault.

Build up is too much at this point.
I don't know. I can't imagine even the biggest fan finding fault with their Corleone Godfather sculpt, build up or no. It is rare, but there is precedent for HT to produce a criticism-proof sculpt IMO.

what?I'm not one of those rabid dogs.:pI'm just offering a different perspective.

You never saw them having kittens? angry superman avatars and signatures? :lol Hot Toys sucks comments and all that?

:lol

You have a good point. While I don't agree with you much on the subject of Indy,it does seem rushed and certainly has room for improvement.I really hope that isn't the case with Reeve. That kind of makes me wonder why HT doesn't do team projects.Think about it:Arnie's Indy fine tuned by Yulli.:drool

Well didn't he say it was at the factory and we're now just waiting to see?

So once again..........

Didn't they do this once with Two Face... sent off to some American sculptor. I don't think it went down too well for Hot Toys schedules.

New here so I just want to say hello to all. My take on this is that I'm a huge Superman fan and Christopher Reeve is the Superman that I will always remember as the one to GET IT RIGHT. I picked up the Mattel Reeve and love it. I have no problem with the wait on this as long as it is the best possible likeness they could get to Reeve as his fetures are very tough to get correct.

I admire yulli of how fast she sculpts heads. Arnie kim's sculpt better be good, if it had us waiting for this long.

This IS winter 2011. By the way, has anyone else noticed how much the Reeve films have been showing up on cable lately? Seems like they show up on Encore and Retroplex at least once a week(not that that's a bad thing). One has to wonder what's up...PS

^ WB has gotta get there $Cake up so they can keep the rights because of the lawsuits, im guessing.

I hope news of this figure comes soon i want it so bad. Im shure it will be worth the wait.
